Today.. Pre op assessment…

I’m having my pre op assessment today at 4… I have no idea what this is lol I’ve been texting Lauren and tried to call her but had no reply…xx

Hi Danielle

At your pre op you’ll just have a chat with the nurse and she’ll go through everything about the procedure and just ask questions based around the medical form you filled out at your consultation

She’ll ask you to give swabs to test for MRSA – in the nose and armpit

She may take a blood sample, I understand they don’t always do this but did with me due to anemia from when I was younger.

She will then take pre op photos of your boobs (worst part for me ha!) and ask you if you have any questions etc.

Hi Danielle, as Rosa said its just to take your height, weight, mrsa test and have a chat about your procedure again and answer any questions you might have. Your nurse will tell you what you need to do to prepare for surgery etc. I didn’t need a blood test at mine and I agree taking the photos was also the worst part for me 🙁 xx
