Today's the day!!?

I’m here and waiting at the Fitzroy! Feeling super nervous and so shattered as I didn’t sleep at all last night? my mind is just racing with so many op and boob thoughts! Looking forward to this all being over and done and on my way back home.

Girls I did it!! Everyone here has been amazing and made it as easy as it possibly could of been. The general anesthetic wasn’t bad and before I knew it I was waking up, I’ll be honest though it is painful very painful. Obviously everyone is totally different to how they feel though. I did think I had a good pain tolerance as I have lots of tattoos and piercings and not really a drama queen at all but I suppose I’ve nothing to compare this to as never had an op before. The nurse has given me opium which is wonderful completely blocked all the pain out. I’m just waiting to have my drains removed and hanging around a bit as I keep going boiling hot and dizzy and blood pressure keeps dropping when I get up but hopefully be going home soon. I’m starving hungry so going to get a burrito!!?? x

OMG I’m scared now! I’m here and waiting to go in… Admission time was 1pm and nurse has just told me and the lady before me that there is a delay! So we have no idea when we will be done ?, I’m starving and Fed up! Hope u have a speedy recovery Harriet! X

Good luck Lauren you’ll be a absolutely fine Hun. Are you at Fitzroy too?? Although it’s been scary and painful it’s not awful and I feel so relived and happy to have finally had it done!

@Lauren that’s rubbish Hun ? gutted for you! Such a shame as I have had such a positive experience. Not that it’s an excuse, but I did ask the best nurse how many bas he had on and he said 16 for today!! I suppose if something ends up taking longer during the op then it’s a knock on effect xx

@Laura I waited 3 hours but didn’t feel it. I hope you’re doing ok hun.
@Abi I had 600cc and 500cc ( pretty bad asymmetry )
Just stopped at asda and got a 34 G now and my partner helped me into it in the disabled loos! Fits perfectly and feels much more supportive xx

Well I’m alive! Finally went for surgery at 10:30 and got back to the ward at 12:30! It was the worse day ever ?… 16 that’s way to much I’m pretty sure that probably illegal! I’ve not had a good experience but I done it! I am complaining though as after surgery too they all had gone hope but 2 people upstairs and there taxis were waiting I felt a bit rushed back downstairs, good job I was high as a kite! How u feeling today Harriett? Xx

I know it hasn’t been a good experience for you and I can totally understand why you are annoyed but try and focus on recovery as you don’t want to be stressing yourself out (don’t mean to sound patronising) it can only get better from this point!
