Told my surgeon doesn't use support bra

Even though my re-aug isn’t until July I asked my surgeons secretary about bras etc and if there was any in particular they recommend using, I’ve just had an e-mail back saying he doesn’t like you to wear a bra until 1week post op, so I’m really confused as I thought you wore one all the time, what would be used instead if I’m not wearing a bra ? Think I’m gonna buy some bras anyway as I don’t like the thought of not wearing anything, did anyone else not wear a bra at first ?

I didn’t have to wear a bra as got taped up. I asked at the hospital as my boobs had the common “pointy” effect post surgery and the nurse said I was welcome to wear a sports bra on top of the tape if I wanted to, so I did.

i had Mario russo monday and hes got me in a breast band i had unders so it pushes them down into the muscles pocket hes created and inward. sports bra next week…..dif surgeon dif styles hun dont worry trust ur surgeon he’ll b saying this for a reason i didnt have drains either some of his patients did just what that surgeon prefers and thinks best for u thats why its important to get on well with them if ur confused just ring mya clinic and speak to one of the girls or get another appointment i did and made me feel so much better i went to see my pc and mario 4 days before my op just to get few things off my chest hope this helps and best of luck take care xxx
