travel paid 4? did others get offered this if you wasn't local 2 clinic or hosp?

Seen a few posts about people getting money back for cabs etc my nearest clinic also wasn’t offered to me either a further London 1 was…hospital Fitzroy further…over 3 hours cab ride home after surgery 2 (even still have cab recipt) ok traffic was bad rush hour when aloud 2 leave but I’d say I’ve easy spent with 2 consultations 1 pre op test 1 surgery 1 check up 7 days then the rest I’ve gota do at about £50 – £60 a trip! I’ve spent a fortune hmmmm lol?

And I chose mya over Mybreast who had a clinic and private hospital 10 mins away from me… I am recomending friends 2 mya but with taking this cost in…Ill easy after the 6 weeks check up 3 month 1 and if you have any other check ups easy spent 700 or more 2 come on travel alone and I couldn’t drive 2 Fitzroy as no parking 2 near by and would of cost a fortune being there from half 6 to 6 why we got cab there and back

I think from what I have read Travel is only paid if MYA have to change your original arrangements at the last second due to special circumstances honey.xxx

you should be able to get that back hun if you couldnt go to your nearest one xx

Well its still like a 35+ mile trip but I’m really dissapointed that I’m hearimg overs are being offered money my taxi 2 hosp was £120 my return taxi was a shocking £350 (was 425 on meter) he let me off traffic was so bad over crimbo etc imagine last thing u want after surgery sat in a cab bobbing lol and yeh return trains cabs easy paid a good amount money 2 go mya! I no my choice but u seriously do not look at it until you have added all up!fuck been cheaper fly marbella have done over there lol which believe or not would been less than uk mmmm

Holly I don’t even think they would care now do u? They have my money…I have cab rec but I just bloody emptied out my purse and go rid of train tickets (but they would no I’m not lying as you can do online and get price) but even wen pc was on holiday I waited 4 my 2nd consultation over 2 hours and you would think whilst I make a 3 hour journey there and back that ur pc would say oh by the way u need a pre op were book u in (as having 2nd consultation and sorting payment I was a sure yes 4 surgery) so let’s save u £60 quid and do a pre op whilst ur down! Wasn’t until I phoned up 2 talk they told me I needed pre op (3 weeks before op) glad I called lol but just little things I think hmmm fustrating and I’m trying not to be negative but I am haha x

My nearest clinic is nottingham but they had no nurse so had to go to Birmingham, MYA are refunding the cost of these trips but not any trips to Nottingham which I think is fair x x

Yeah that’s fair, as far as I knew, if they couldn’t facilitate you at your nearest clinic, and you had to travel further because of them not your fault, then they reimbursed, but from what I’ve seen on here, some girls have really had to fight for the money! xx

Oh yeh Sarah I chose mya I no that shows u no I paid 4 a consultation with Mybreast (offered same implants etc) but I chose 2 do the travel etc because reviews 4 mya and I have 2 say mostly the surgeon Mr singh! But its when I had 2 travel another trip 4 pre op when if I was a pc and I had someone I new was coming down 4 2nd consultation, sorting money and would need a pre op would arrange it but yes I believe no nurse was there at that time as yes the surgeon said I’ll need pre op and I asked and he said no nurse there at that time or something but again I had 2 phone 2 confirm this etc…just anoying little things that sort of make u abit mift! X

And I had no more holiday 2 take 4 a pre op so I had to go after work 4 a 7pm appointment which was great they was open then otherwisei would of been stuffed to be able to get down in time but still after getting up from 6 working all day taxi down to London and back getting home at half 10 because no1 didn’t sort out a pre op is anoying! But what’s done is done my boobs are done now lol so mya won’t be offering to give me money back when they have mine so I’m not going to moan anoymore vent over haha! X

I had my surgery travel reimbursed as originally I was booked in at a London hospital, which would have been local for me, but then after I’d booked and paid, they moved my hospital to a Preston one!!! Still do all my other appts in London, so I pay for all those.

I went with N U cosmetic clinic and they arranged for the taxi to take me home after the op as had no way of getting home x x

Really supercoops that’s soo good it seems mya didn’t consider my travel etc even with a hospital with no free parking! Mya mods not commented on this post I see lol

Lol, you should take it up with them honestly hun, if its not your fault that you’ve had to travel to a different clinic then they should pay, like they have for others, it’s not fair to have one rule for some and not for others xx

I no I chose mya and that’s fine but my nearest clinic wasn’t offered 2 me and I’m not exactly local to London its a good 35+ mile trip 2 and from! But the fact what’s annoyed me with regards 2 the pre op that my pc didn’t boob in on 2nd consultation whilst I sat and waited hours also as running behind (seems common thing 4 mya 1st consultation also) so I traveled all that was 4 a pre op that was done in less than 10 mins and cost me a small fortune amd just because I have been aware others have travel paid 4 and just paid myas not cared! Facts I’ve paid an extra 700 2 go with their company just must b the norm 4 myas customers mmmm were if I’d moaned I’m sure I’d got money back but now after surgery done etc they won’t care
