I do stomach crunches every morning and every night as well as going to the gym. They are far more effective than sit ups and are really great for the lower abdominal area which is the toughest part to shift. Also, muscle work keeps your metabolism higher for longer as it tends to plummet quite quickly after doing lots of cardio, your doing running and that’s great, so it’s best to combine the two together as part of your exercise program for quicker, longer lasting results; once you build up a nice amount of muscle tone it’s very hard to lose it…when is your op? x

Ahh loads of time then! If you keep to it then I’m sure you will see quite a bit of change! Also, if you have the time then keeping a food diary can be a help too

    Good luck x

I lost 5 stone following slimming world. I gradually introduced exercise by walking and then joining the gym. I now go to the gym 5-6 days a week for 2-3 hours each day and do a lot of classes which are a mixture of cardio and resistance training. As Dolly said building muscle helps you burn more calories and also makes your body look leaner and sexier!!!
