trying to upload pics, starting to piss me off

girls im so sorry to rant but i am trying to upload my pics for you to see my progress so far, but each time i try it says my files are too big, so i compressed them, uploaded them onto my phone then onto the computer and still no joy!!

can anyone help please, i cant see any guidelines on this site to tell me what i am doing wrong

I uploaded the pics from my phone tried putting them on here but were too big so opened them up in windows media viewer and used the edit option to crop them then it worked hun xx
