Hello cfp1980, i had a tummy tuck 5 yrs ago. don’t regret a thing. I haven’t got any before pics sadly ( which i did take some now, but hated my tummy so much). The op went really well. I remember the only thing which was painful was them stitching my tummy muscles together. I wish you all the luck. x x

I was lucky i suppose had it on nhs. My tummy got so stretched from having my two children. I still have stretch marks but not the apron of skin anymore. It is so worth it. x x

That is everything I want but was told I couldnt have all together… makes me wonder why I was told it would be impossible to do all together cos too long in theatre but others can!

Hi. I had to wear corset for 6 weeks and you are not allowed to properly shower!

I approached my gp about it on nhs and I wasn’t even considered as I wasn’t overweight. I had seperation of the stomach muscles due to a twin pregnancy and was told that this would not be recovered by diet and exercise. I had to go private with it, but I don’t regret a day of it.

I feel lucky in the respect that I didn’t have real pain after and didn’t need the painkillers! Only ache was back ache and that was because I couldn’t walk up straight lol xx

Dutty my tummy is a pop out hell lol … Hope I have the same recovery as you… When did you start to feel normal hun… I didn’t take pain killers after my section didn’t need them so hoping this is the same…

I am so happy with my recovery, ok so lft with hip to hip scar, but it isn’t visible with most items of clothing. Even bikinis! I have my own belly button (was cut out and re sown). My scar has faded well and not really noticable and unless I tell people I had a TT nobody suspects anything different other than I been lucky lol.

It’s a good 6 weeks before you feel like a person (and that’s really down to the corset). But I think a good 2 months before you notice a change. I will take a photo tmrw when I get back from work and put it up on my profile so you get an idea of how it may look in time. I did have some before pics, but my laptop went bang! Lol. It’s the stockings that you have to wear too that are funny! x

PS. I showered (very carefully) put a bin bag all the way around and tuck it in the top of the corset xxx

My TT should be noticeable straight away I have a huge kanga hang I can’t wait to wake up and be like show meeeee!

Would love to see your pics hun I’m so excited now…. It’s nice to have reassurance with someone that’s had it done and is happy with the end result … Well done you x
