Hiya girls, ok so day three post op and finally I am getting there. Still sore but can move on my own and the pain has subsided a lot!! Plus I have changed my sports bra and my boobs look way better!!! I have spent the past few days moaning to you all about being in pain so thank you all for your kind words it really helped. You were all totally right, it does get better. Being only three days in I am looking forward to the next few months now of healing and fluffing. To anyone pre op, stick with it, any pain or discomfort is worth it. I received amazing care from Mr Traynor and MYA and would recommend to anyone. Will post pictures now I can finally move!! Was a 34A and had 500. HP unders. Wearing a 34E/F and hoe to settle to a nice DD. XX

Aw I feel the same. My right boon geeks tighter and sorer and there’s more swelling I’m right handed. Keep sleeping but its so uncomfortable , I’m getting a burning sensation on the side of my left boob, makes me worry because I don’t know what to expect, hope you are all doing okay xxx

@sammyjanecraig this is all normal hun. You can try putting some ice on the one that is burning. Get your bf to get you an ice pack if you don’t have one. Xx

It’s awful isn’t it! @lisalili thank you hunny, I was panicking coz I felt pretty ok yesterday and was doing stuff & think I must have overdone it coz my boobs are twice the size they were yesterday and feel like flaming hot rocks I can hardly move! Putting ice on them when I can, do you rest the ice packs on top of the sports bra or do you rest them on your actual boobs? (Sorry if that’s a daft question) Xxx

@jennifer1990 Ahh hun, honestly you need to fully rest. I have read about so many girls thinking they are ok as the pain is being controlled with painkillers and doing to much and slowing down their recovery. You need to put your feet up and be waited on hand and foot! Do not put the ice. Directly on your skin hun, either wrap it with a piece of kitchen towel or put over your bra. Make sure you stay hydrated and take ibuprofen for swelling as well as arnica tablets xx

Hi girls, my skin is super tight and my boobies are hard as well . Lisa is totally spot on, we just need to be patient and the swelling will go down and our lovely boobies will soften. Random tip, cinnamon is a natural anti inflammatory so add it to it porridge or herbal tea. I have been using a hot water bottle on my lower back and ice packs on my boobs to help with the swelling. I often have to stop to catch my breath and I think this is just part of our recovery (but call the nurse if you are not sure). I will post some more pics later, I popped to the shops before, bit optimistic, now in bed feeling faint! X

Thanks for the tip Laura 🙂 I’ve been drinking green tea for my stomach when it was blocked up and peppermint tea and now ill get on the cinnamon tea haha! You should not be at the shops hun, you should be in bed resting don’t be fooled into thinking your fine because the tablets are easing your pain please as this could hinder your recovery. At the moment I too am out of breath because it feels like there is a little man constantly sat on my chest lol! On the plus side having my 2nd BA has made me give up smoking 🙂 don’t know about anyone else but this in itself is also life changing haha xx

Know other people are feeling the same and that its normal as you don’t know what is and what’s not when your new to it. I went shopping before didn’t lift anything just needed to go for a walk around x

Hi a trace, that is a good old m and s bra. Was £22. Pricey but totally worth it, gives great support and super comfy to sleep in too. Defo would recommend getting one. I also have a black one with pink trim from m and s that is fab too that I think was £18.again, pricey but these will last me a long time and both feel really comfy. They are on the m and s website if you want to take a look xxxx
