TWO VERY DIFFERENT CONSULTATIONS……Interesting

On wednesay i had a consultation with hospital group heres what they said

>>> I wanna be a size D cup, i was advised to go for 425cc unders which will take me to DD cup, Surgeon took no measurements. And i need to have 4 weeks off work. Very fast consultation quoted £3295 daycase and i would have to travel to birmingham, quite a trip for me as it is a 2 hour drive in good traffic.

>>>> Consultation from rightchoice healthcare uk. very indepth consultation. Surgeon asked me what look i wanted to achieve. He took measurements and said he will take to theatre a range of sizes 325cc-480cc and try each of them and see which one would give me the look i want. He said he would do overs, and explained why, he also gave me pictures of what can happen in years to come with having unders, not nice. He said he does not use cup sizes as a measurement as many women find that once the breasts have settled they are generally bigger than what was estimated.He takes the measurements and then refers to the sizing guide that comes with the implants. He aslo said that i could have a local instead of general so i could see what the size and shape is like once each implant is put in. I felt really confortable with this surgeon, and he has done thousands of BA but also does alot of breast reconstruction for women who have had breast cancer.

I am going to have a think about it for a week but rightchoice impressed me far more with the consultation alone.

What do you guys think? With hospital group i was in and out in 20 mins, this guy i was there for over 40 mins.

i had my consultation withe the hospital group a couple of weeks ago and the first thing i asked for was a local anthestic and he said no…

i have already had a ba 5 years ago and had 270cc overs.. i have no got one boob bigger than the other and my confidence has just gone… thats why im now booked in to have my second ba with 525cc overs.. i have not had anymore consultations so i have nothing to compare to.. which hospital group clinic did you go to? if you really cant decide and you were not happy with them id ring them and ask if you can see a different surgeon.. which surgeon did you see..?

Hi Jem, I went to Deansgate manchester and saw Mr Sforza but which ever surgeon i went with i would still have to go to birmingham for the surgery as a day case, bit far to travel coming home after having surgery. Aww jem, i really hope they sort it out for you properly, do you have to pay again?

Hi Kassi, rightchoice have clinics throughout the uk, i went to the one in preston, but the surgery will be done elsewhere. If you go on their website and ring them they will let you knwo closest one to you. Also Kassie they have quoted me £3095.

I went to nottingham clinic it wasnt the hospital group that did my last one it was transform mr kazzazi i believe he works for mya now….

I went to see mr pagoneli at the hospital group.. he was quite nice actually…

im paying £4095 for my surgery its alot more to have a re aug….

Id just ring them up sharon and tell them you want another consultation with another surgeon and see what they say…

but if you are happy with the other then id stick with them…

i have to go to birmingham for my surgery and dolan park

I would b very concerned about having a BA under local! ! And havin them changin the sizes inside me!! Whats wrong with doin it the normal way and tryin them in the bra? Good luck with what ever u decide? But i’ve never heard of any1 doin it under local. I went with mya. Wud def recommend! xX

well i live in middlesbrough & dont want to travel to far but the price that you have been offered is excellant as i am saving up on a student wage ( collage student so no loans) lol so the cheeper the better for me! xx

Ba’s are done all over the world using local and general, mya,transform,hospital group have all confirmed that BAs can be and are done at many places using a local.And also under a general alot of surgeons will try a couple of diff sizes to make sure the implant gives you the right shape

rightchoice sound good… but theres nothing wrong with unders thousands and thousands of girls have them inkluding me and mine look amazing now, so i aint very happy with him showin u piks sayin they dont look nice lool and i went with mya they are brilliant… good luk!!

He didnt say all unders were wrong and looked horrible, he shown me pics of some women whoose unders did go wrong, and it was them pics that did not look nice lol

No doubt millions of women have unders or overs, each surgeon has their preferences and at the end of the day whether its unders or overs any of them can go wrong i guess.

Am glad that you are happy with them its alot of money isnt it to pay out and its really difficult to decide who to go with

i no took me ageeees to deside! have u looked into any one else apart from the two above?? harley medikal group, transform, mya and my breast?? just a few others for ya hope u find sumwere soon…

Yes i have enquired with mya and transform, but there prices seem far more than the other two, if im not entirely happy with any of the ones that i have seen then i may look again at transform and mya

Seriously Mya all the way the aftercare is second to none aswell as all the other positive points you need a consulation with them before you go ahead with anything x

i already contacted mya, i know i definately want a ba been thinking about it for yrs now, im gunna av a few consultations so i know im definately picking the right one for me

The aftercare is great, they will do any further surgery that is needed due to problems with the implants such as cc, infection, drooping etc all included in the price.

I am going to decide in the week and book as soon as my funds come through, hopefully thursday/friday

I am looking to have my op in october and have had a consultation with Transform, have one tomorrow with Mya, one on saturday with Rightchoice and one next week with The Hospital Group. Think I will need a uplift with implants so am getting all the prices and info but already know that Transform are out of my price range so will be interested to get all the other prices and see what the surgeons say x

well have been for my consultation with Mya and am not more confused than ever. I only saw the patient co-ordinator and she is not sure wether I will need a uplift or just implants so have made an appointment with the surgeon. Will know more on saturday after a appointment with the surgeon at rightchoice. If I need a uplift Mya is way out my price range, more expensive than Transform, can’t belive the difference in price everywhere. So no further forward but thought I would ipdate you !

Which consultant are you seeing? and which area? I saw Mr Patterson in preston, he was very informative i felt really at ease with him, he answered all my questions. One good thing that i found with both surgeons, rightchoice and hospital group they both agreed that i dont need an uplift…wahaaaay haha

Well, i will find out monday whether i have got my funds and which date it will be going into the bank, and i have been offered the date for my BA 16th june if i get my funds so i have accepted the date.

I have decided to go for rightchoice, mr patterson will be doing it and it will be at the hospital in preston, am not sure of the name of it, cant remember. Fingers crossed that my funds come through!!!

Hi sharon i had unders and they are fantastic,before my ba i went to see ouite a few PS and they all including rightchoice,and they all said unders,because i have very little breast tissue,i seen loads of photos,can you please tell me why they were not nice,as im thinking of ringing them as they were advised to me,and were not shown these pics and im a bit annoyed right now good look with your ba x
