Two weeks post op tomorrow…

Dressings came off last week, lookin’ good, with the exception of the black fluff from my sports bra stuck to my inscisions…but that’ll come off in a couple of weeks, as i can’t scrub/wash it off with fear of infection or the wound opening again, ew.

Only thing is i’m still a little bit painful, quite stingy i guess you could say, across my chest and round the sides of my boobs, anyone else feel this?

Hi, I think this is the natural healing process as the nerves start to knit back together, they should be getting less numb now too, i’m only 6 days but occasinally get the sharp stinging you are talking about.

hi holly, yes this is quite normal hun, and 2 weeks is still really early days. Just try and take it easy, and it should start easing off soon hun. Take care, Tammy x

Well i’m glad this is normal, I just get stinging throughout the day. Arrgh!
