unders…. how painful??

hey girls well im booked for the 9th of june,i was wanting overs but my sergeon said i need unders as i dont have enuff breast tissue to cover overs! i know its going to be more painful and take longer to heal :$ but is it really bad pain or is it bearable? gettin nervous now! xx

Its not pain hun its a heavy stretched feeling which lasts bout a week. Very achey in mornings. I still ache now in a morning but once im up and about im fine im 18 days op. Think i was spwaking to u on the day i had my op. Only prob i have had is i had a reaction to the stitches which has taken ny scars longer to heal xx youll be fine xx

yea we have spoke b4 did you have to get your muscle cut so your implants could drop? xx

Hun we only really get partials.

Full unders are.only ever used for recon surgery where the patient has to of had breast taken away. They put them fully under the 3layers of muscle. Which involves cutting muscle from chest wall. Would take ages to heal not just six weeks.

We have them under the first layer if muscle. For some reason surgeons never say im givingu partials just either say unders or ivers xx

i’m 4 weeks post op and still have slight discomfort even now but its only in my left boob, I had originally planned to go back to work 11 days after my op but ended up going back 13 days later, I felt that I needed an extra couple of days as my left boob was still quite sore. They say unders take longer to heal due to the cutting of the muscle, my surgeon called it various different names but on the letter to my GP to say that i had just had my boobs done it said that I had a breast augumentation involving sub muscular di-section, sounds worse than it was and the pain wasn’t that bad but it was all worth it in the end!!

oh god sounds horrible!! lol oh well will be worth it
