I always thought that unders would be best on me because i have very little breast tissue. But at my consultation, mr. traynor explained that under the muscle is much harder to create a cleavage with. He also said that my muscle is so thin that it would provide very little coverage so not much benefit would be gained from having unders. BUT he also recommended that i have unders, because even though its not much, there is still that tiny extra layer of coverage.

so what do i dooo? i’ve come to this conclusion: overs – better cleavage but may look more fake, unders – not a good cleavage but small and i mean SMALL layer of coverage….. which do i choose? so confused 🙁 xxx

i’m 6ft tall, very thin, 32A and having 420 ultra high profile

Overs don’t look fake, as long as they are done right, my overs look a million times more natural then my unders (I developed CC so had a re-op to overs and now very unhappy!)
You can speak to your surgeon before your op, and ask him once again what he thinks is best. Don’t stress about the option to much, your surgeon does know best (most of the time, lol) xx

Hi, I also had the choice of overs or under, I decided to go for unders as I think they look slightly more natural if u have less breast tissue to start with. From photos I have seen the there is little difference, under to me look smoother. Under will be a little more recovery time and u loose upper body strength for a bit, but if your getting cut open and spending all your money what’s a little extra pain?

I can still get a good cleavage out of mine. Love them to bits 🙂 google both photos in the size u want and compare them would be my advice and go with the look you like best 🙂

    Hi Emma.
I understand your dilemma. I can’t decide on unders or overs but for different reasons to you. I work out a lot and worry that under the muscle will effect my workouts too much, and over the muscle I may get rippling. I’m booked for surgery on the 11 December with Mr Chantarasak, I’ve got another consultation with him to go over what I want to achieve and then I think I’m going to leave to him to decide! He’s been doing it for 27 years so he knows best.
Have sent you a friend request so we can compare notes! Lol.

thanks everyone. Its so hard to decide when you see overs and unders before and after pics and you find good ones, bad ones, amazing ones and awful ones for both! i just hope with me being so thin they don’t end up looking like two circles stuck to my chest… thats my only worry. and he recommended unders but the only reason im doubting this is because he also said my muscle is very thin and wont provide much coverage…. so whats the point when i can get a better cleavage from overs?!

    Hi Emma,
I’m pretty much the same size as you (6ft, 32A, size 10) and I was determined I didn’t want the stuck on look.
Mr Fallahdar told me straight away to have unders as I have so little tissue. I’ve gone for high profile 365s, instead of originally choosing ultra high profile 400s, as I only want a moderate C cup that isn’t stuck on.
Different girls have different results obviously, but I decided I’d rather create a cleavage with a push up bra than take my bra off and have stuck out boobs I didn’t like!
Trust your surgeon though and really be clear about the effect you want to achieve, I’m certain you’ll be confident with the results 😉

I am also having the same dilemma, I am very thin, just under under 7 stone and very petite. I have always imagined I would need unders as I want the most natural look possible and I am so small, yet when I saw Dr Traynor he said I had a good cup and would have overs. I have to say I’m really disappointed! I am really worried they’re going to look stuck on as my collar bone is so prominent! Does anyone know if you can ask to be changed for unders? xx

Hey hun with my first surgeon he suggested unders cuz I’m really small and aint got that much tissuebut I had to see another surgeon due to travel problems and he suggested I have overs because of asymmertry etc but I’ve always had in my head that I wanted unders but now I’m not really bothered they do the same job and both have there risks its just up to you want you really want. Anyway I’m having 380 overs 17th December and I’m a 32aa so feel free to add me and take a peek xx

Hey I had mr traynor. Had 415 in one and 385 in the other. I also had overs but I did not know I was getting overs. I didn’t join this forum until they were done do didn’t really understand the difference. I just trusted mr traynors judgement this is his job I told him what I wanted to acheive and left him to it. I must say he has given me exactly what I asked for. Nice boobies that arnt completely different sizes that look natural and not too big for my frame. M only 4 weeks PO do they have a lot of settling still to go but I am extatic with them I love my new assets! Feel free to add me if you would like to look at my before and after pictures x
