    Hey boobie-buddy :D

They say that the textured surface prevents scar tissue forming around the shell of the implant however American medical studies tend to differ in opinion. One which used two groups of women with the same surgeon, surgery type and aftercare but one group with textured silicone and one smooth silicone, and employing breast massaging to keep the implant mobile to disallow fiberous growth around the implant, noted a difference of 4% cc rate with textured and 21% with smooth!

Another clinical study which used 1 group of ladies but each with 1 textured implant and 1 smooth, reported no difference in cc rates between the two types of implants at all!

im so worried about it happening to me then having to have them taken out and pay to have them done again! if it happens once is ther a chance of it happening again?

According to research the cohesive gel implants (they only do one type in the regular CUI implant range) the Inspira/ Natrelle range because they have a more cohesive/slightly more solid, harder filling than the standard silicone or saline fillings had much better, lower rates of cc. All the implants MYA use as standard are textured, I think you have to pay more for smooth, and again the Inspira/Natrelle are more expensive.

Also, the larger the implant, the more chance of cc according to lots of studies. I don’t think you can predict it though, as every person will have a different reaction but try not to worry as it did occur they would take it out and place another one in it’s place when your body had had a chance to recover xx
