Got an underwired spirts bra from m&s today to wear sat night! Hen night in manchester!! Will it b ok to wear 14 days post op as its wired?? Its still a sports bra and feels really comfy :) xx

I believe it’s no under wire for 6 weeks hun. Heard of girls getting infections after 4 & 5 weeks post op because of wearing an underwire so I’d say no. M&S do bras without underwires & seen some new ones in primark too which have molded padded cups which look great but only go up to a D cup. I’d say braless is better than underwire cos that’s what my surgeon told me & I went on a night out 10 days post op braless xxx

they say not to wear any underwired bras up until 6 weeks post op. but obviously its upto you if you want to take the risk. i would say though to be reeeeeally careful and dont get drunk if you can help it. the last thing you want is spending all this money and then falling over or someone elbow you in the boob and cause complications. but obviosly its upto you! enjoy your night if you do go out :) xx
