Unhappy bunny!!? Mya can't offer me appointment till August !!!

Really unhappy had breast enlargement November 11 with me Singh and really not happy and need to b trope rated on but after numerous phonecas none back and trying to make appointment I finally get somewhere today to find I can’t even see mr Singh till August just want this sorted am really unhappy not good after care at all rant over but would like some feed back off u guys cheers. X

I know this feeling all to well! I started twining about my results weeks ago, and couldn’t get an appointment until

August either, which would have been over three months left with dodgy boobs and also in pain!! Despite the fact I had my op in jan, and they have never been right.

I got my appointment moved forwards a whole month so keep on at them, stating your after care package word for word, and making them aware of the problems you have xx

My implants won’t drop, they are still really hard, the scars are so awful I cry when I see them, and they hurt if I lie down, resulting in no sleep every night I’m now 6.5 post op, and very frustrated with it all, especially broken sleep

It doesn’t surprise me. My formal complaint following my revision has been ongoing since February. I just want everything fixed but MYA are the worst for after care!

Oh my u lot just made me more determined to fight this I had bigger implants ment to b unders but there seems to b more implants by my armpit side rather than in middle they got funny shape at bottom of breast and me to have pain and can’t sleep feel so depressedxx

Fight as hard as you can hun, I know I am! I won’t stop until I have the results I paid for! Even if I go with another company, MYA will be footing my bill! The ‘aftercare’ they provide is the worst I have ever encountered.

I know not everyone goes through what we are, and have a great time with MYA, and to be honest I’m jealous of them xx

At the end of the day every company will have patients that get poor results because surgery is not a science. The real test is how they deal with those people to fix the problems. Sadly, that is where MYA fails. Massively. Being left needing corrective surgery and having to fight it for months and months is no way to treat a human.

I have just joined this forum as advised by my doctor. I am not happy either. Firstly the after care, I had to chase MYA, no phone call from them for the 2nd post op appt. I had my BA in August 2010. Wasn’t happy with the result from the start, was told to wait a year for things to settle down. Dr singh said he would re-do but MYA wants to charge me £1,800 again. As far as I’m concerned, if Dr Singh can re-do it then he didn’t do it properly in the beginning. So much lack of communication from MYA. I even e.mailed MYA about what implants I had because of the implant scare, no answer.

Debbie I doubt you have PIPs hun, MYA only used them in 46 ( I think) woman, and they have all been contacted and getting sorted, so don’t worry on that part.

As for getting a surgeon appointment, ring daily, and badger them, message mod, do everything you can to get it sorted. It’s your body, and was your money to start with.

MYA are very quick to paint a pretty picture about after care, but the reality is once they have your money, your just another number on their system, and that isn’t how any company should be run xx

Have been on and on at them nothing they make a big song and dance about there aftercare then make u feel like this I had a infection in one scar after op and it took weeks to heal properly and several journeys back and forth to et dressing changed and no I have given the time span they told me to they still not bring helpful why pay all this money and have to suffer with things u don’t like!!!! My pc did ring me other day after she ha obviously been told to read my posts and all she was was rude!!!! Xxx
