Hi there i had a BA with Dr Singh through Mya on 13th August last year and just wanted to say how apalled i am by the aftercare provided by Mya infact in all honesty from day 1 i have encountered nothing but problems with them. I had 1300cc implants which at the time was a special case for Mya(i wasn’t wanting to go that big but having lost a lot of weight i had so much skin and wasn’t suitable for an uplift so larger implant was my only option) , my implants had to be specially made in France which i had to wait 13 weeks for and i paid a premium for the larger implant. For weeks before my op i was constantly chasing my PC who was RUBBISH she never got back to me and after i put a post on here complaining about her she rang me to tell me she’d had a telling off and was so rude to me i ended up in tears for days and almost cancelled my op. It turns out that a few weeks later she was sacked so there were obviously lots of other unhappy patients. Following my op i developed an infection – the nurse Karen was fantastic – throughout the whole thing she is the only person i cannot fault. She got my surgeon to write me a prescription for antibiotics and followed up with me a week or so later. I went back at 6 weeks for what was supposed to be my follow up with the surgeon to check how things were and to go through before and after pics. Because the clinic was so busy that day i ended up seeing the nurse who called in Dr Singh in between his consultations – he took one look at me and said ‘yes all fine’ and walked out of the room….i was so disappointed both with him and Mya. To this day almost a year on i have never heard from Mya, I have never seen my before and after pics which i have requested several time sand all i keep getting is emails trying to sell me their new liposuction procedure….not that i want it done anyway but why would i even consider going back with Mya after such a poor experience first time around. I am extremely happy with my new boobies they have brought me so much confidence but i feel extremely let down by Mya and Dr Singh and after spending nearly £6000 on a procedure i expect a better service than this!! DO NOT USE MYA!!!!
Im sorry to hear bout your experience with MYA hun, i also dont think there aftercare is anything to write home about. However i dont really feel that bringing Mr Singhs name and rep into it is very fair tho tbh. He did look over you, whether or not it was for long he sees boobies everyday so im sure hes more than qualified to spot a problem in a short time. Get in touch with mya and explain to them how u feel xx
If you are over the moon with your boobies then Mr Singh has done his job.I would contact MYA and let them know how disappointed you are with the service,at least they will get the opportunity to improve the service for other customers with you bringing this to their attention.Good luck,xxx
I am also sorry to hear you aren’t entirely satisfied with MYA…
…But I don’t think slandering them or putting people off using them on a forum designed to help those girls who are starting their journey with MYA is the best solution.
I can understand that you are feeling pretty peeved off with the whole situation but you should call MYA and explain your feelings to them, discreetly.

i have tried on several occassions to contact Mya to no avail hence my post on here….i am not slandering Dr Singh at all, like you say i’m happy with my boobies so happy with his work but what i’m not happy with is the lack of communication and after paying so much money (a lot of which goes in Mya’s pocket not the surgeon’s) the least i expect is a follow up appointment especially as i had problems following the op. I encountered so many problems with Mya including confidential information being sent to incorrect addresses, turning up for appointments that i had taken time off work for only to find out i hadn’t actually been booked in on their computer and my notes weren’t there….the list goes on and on and on. The idea of this forum is to give an honest opinion of Mya…trust me in the months leading upto my op i was on here constantly. I just wanted to see if anyone else had encountered the same problems as me x

I’d say the fact the PC got told off and then got sacked is a good point on MYA. I understand about the check up as it’s better to have the surgeons opinion – did you ask for a re-arrangement for when he wasn’t busy? obviously this would be inconvenient for you but if it meant that much to you would be worth it?
I know MYA do say you can have a copy of the photos but surely most take their own anyway and if this is your only complaint (aside from the PC who got sacked) it can’t be THAT bad?

this is MY opinion on Mya based on personal experience if people don’t like it then that is fine no need to comment…i spent so much time going back and forth for consultations…i was told that i would be sent an appointment just before xmas and one 12 months on….i never received either. I shouldn’t have to chase people it is Mya’s job to provide an aftercare service for 3 years following the op.

I wasn’t particularly happy with the speed at which my PC got back to me either, but I agree about the nurse Karen, she is ace. I still ring her now sometimes
