Unsupportive family

I told my mum a year ago now I’d been for a consultation she pretty much went mad. And my dad is against anything like that he hates my lip fillers. The money I’m going to be using is some of my savings my grandad put away for me and I’m quite sure he would have wanted me todo whatever makes me happy. Has anyone been in the same position? I’ve tried to explain but they just don’t get it I’m going to have to rely on friends for support 🙁

Hey, sort of similar to you. My mum is fine but my dad, aunties etc think I’m ‘stupid’ I’m just ignoring them all. At the end of the day it’s your body and you can do whatever you like with it. I’m having my op a week today, all’s I can say is a big F you to the people who are unsupportive. Here if you need a chat xx

I would ignore what they think, at the end of the day this is what is going to make you happy, they will understand when they see how happy they have made you! Luckily my parents have been extremely supportive so they are more than happy for me to go through with it all, they said as long as it makes me happy, and confident 🙂

But honestly you need to do what makes you happy! And they’ll understand eventually 🙂 xx
