Mine were partial unders, apparently i hadn’t got that much tissue, was a 34C bra but he said only had enough tissue to be a B cup. x

    Hi Melissa honey,

Unders are advised for girls with less than 2cm of breast tissue, overs with more than 2cm…from what I can remember. If you have overs and do not have a lot of breast tissue it can result in the noticing rippling at some point, because the breast tissue is thin. With unders the breast muscle protects the implant and holds it in place and disguises the implant. I don’t think there is any rule with having uplift as I had overs with uplift and know someone to have had unders with uplift too. I think it just all depends on the amount of breast tissue already there. I might be wrong but make a note of this honey and double check with the surgeon at your consultations xxx

It depends what look you want to achieve.

I wanted them big but still natural looking so went for low Profile unders.

What I don’t want is for them to sag quickly again, I’m worried if I have overs then the weight will sag my boobs again quickly! Xx

Its such a pain to choose the size, profile and unders or overs!

I think there should be some sort of computer where they can show you what all 3 would look like on you!

I went for low profiles, I think I am glad I did but I dont know what high profile would have looked like!

Could you not have moderate – where they are medium! not unders and not overs!

I just had a look at that sam and it does help explain things, however I’m still worried about the sagging over time with overs and the higer risk of cc xx

    Hi Jo,

The awful truth is, is that sagging can occur with anyone over time, whether you have ba/uplift or not, all due to pregnancy, weight loss/gain and age, there’s no getting away from it…eventually, BUT, implants can help starve off sagging. CC can happen to anyone too, there’s no guarantee. All op’s / ba’s come with risks. Make a note of all your concerns and ask your surgeon. Have a look at the below link of frequently asked questions xxx
