I have really empty 34b’s after breast feeding and although i want to have big full round boobies im worried i will have to have an uplift aswell, i don’t want the extra scaring. Has anyone chose not to have an uplift with their implant even though advised?? what do they look like? To me i want to feel good about myself not sure i would with more scar’s. Im booked in to see surgeon on tue.

Hey although i havent breastfed i have lost 6 stone.

My surgeon advised i had an uplift and i went with his advice!

Iv seen pictures of girls wo have had them and honestly the scars are hardly noticable, obviously everyone is different but from what iv seen they fade really well!

Iv only got ten days to go and cant wait!!!

Good luck in what you decide to do!

    hi hunny,

which surgeon are you going to see?

i was worried i would need an uplift, i’m only 22, but had gone from been 12 stone to 91’2 and it went straight from my boobs.

my stats were 5ft 4, size 8-10 and 9 1/2 stone, i was a very empty and saggy 34B. i had 410 implants dual (under/half over) the muscle. i’m about 15 weeks post op now, and i LOVVVVVVVVVE them, i’m about a 34DD/E. i have before and after pics if you’d like to see. . . xx

    Hi Lucylou

I was advised by a nurse at Harley (not a surgeon) that i needed an uplift so i went for a second opinion at MYA and was told I didnt. Dr C said i could have one in the future but it wasn’t essential now so i went ahead with jus a BA. He did say the BA wouldn’t uplift my boobs much and made me aware that they’d be on the same level but as i had small boobs anyway they werent really saggy.

I’m happy with the results and they have been uplifted slightly jus by the implant.

I’d def take ur surgeons advice tho.

oh yeh, by the way. One way of checking if u need an uplift is by measuring from ur collarbone down to ur nipple. If its more than 23cm (I THINK!!!) then you may need an uplift. Theres a few other ways to check like if ur nipple points down or is below the crease of ur breast.

hi leigh, would you mind if i had a look at ur pics? i had an uplift in july, and although im happy i would obviously preffered less scaring so im just wondering if your were as saggy as mine pre op, which i expect they wernt, but i still am curious to know how they made a change to urs! lol sorry for the essay…my email is christypeart@hotmail.co.uk thanks xx
