    Hi Ladies

I had my BA this morning with Mr Nathan of Transform – all went well but my left breast is so swollen and the bottom part is painful and the whole breast is rock hard and sits a lot higher than the right which is soft and not much pain at all – is this normal – i wasnt in much pain when i was at the hospital but as the day has gone on the pain seems to be worse and the swelling has increased – can anyone help? The implant also feels like it wants to come out of my chest!

Hi Hun x when i had my boobs done, my right boob was more painful than my left, my incisions hurt constantly, but my left boob was swollen more than my right and they were both rock hard, the kinda hardness boobs go when breastfeeding! have you taken any painkillers x if your worried then contact the 24hr helpline and speak with a nurse x i hope you start feelin better and the pain starts to wear off. happy healing :D

I’d ring the emergency nurse babe just to be sure. The pain will get abit worse because the anaesthetic is wearing off, try not to worry about it because they say treat each one as a separate op and just because one doesn’t hurt much doesn’t mean the other one hurts too much (Id that makes sense).

Defo ring the nurse though always worth checking

I called the helpline and he said to put ice on the swelling at the top – its defo got worse since i left the hospital and is almost up to my collar bone. he said if it is worse in the morning to go in. Just took some more pain killers and felt sick/dizzy/clammy/sweaty. Dont know whether to go in now or wait till the morning if its worse

Remember to drink plenty of fluids, go to the toilet often, and to prop your pillows so that you’re back is at an angle when lying down. You need to be at a 45 degree angle to help the swelling to go down. If I was you hun, go to sleep but have your mum/partner pop in on you through the night or at least be available in case you get worse. xx

Don’t worry about hassling them hunny, go in now, best to be safe!

You won’t sleep properly anyway cause you will worry and be in pain !

Aftercare is all paid for do use it xxx

Hi ladies. Thanks for all your messages. I’m typing this from my hospital bed at the riverside hospital. They are keeping me in over night and operating on my left boobie tomorrow as it’s a build up

Of blood and clots. Am absolutely gutted. Had a right old cry. But better now than when I’ve started to heal. I look a right treat. Have compression bands on. Then my Macom bra. Then blue rubber gloves with ice cubes in them

Stuffed down the left side. A drip in my arm and taken anti sickness drugs, tramadol, antibiotics and a sleeping pill!! Thanks for all your advice girls. Xx

I think because there are lost of members on the forum, you notice these events more, two different companies, similar circumstances,it could happen to anyone,at least on both occasions immediate action and care was taken to make sure the girls had medical attention. This will reassure anyone considering any surgical procedure that they are in the safest hands should something go wrong.Get well soon jomcm123,and mandym, big hugs.xxx

Hi Ladies – thanks all so much for your get well messages – had the re op on Friday morning and that went well – they took out the implant and drained the blood and sealed the vessel and then put the implant back in – got home about 8pm Friday evening and have been taking it soooo easy ever since – slept loads and have some brilliant friends who have been round taking care of me! My boobs feel slightly heavy and swollen but nothing out of the ordinary. Havent really had a good look at them yet tho as they are strapped up but i can take the straps off tomorrow so looking forward to having a good look! Was so gutted about the second op but am on the road to recovery – what i would say if any of you have any doubts as to whether everything is ok is trust your gut instinct and listen to forum advice! Thanks girls loads – your support has been fab! Jo xx

Hi Jo glad to hear your feeling better, I had exactly the same thing on mon had uplift and ba but i was still in hospital as I was overnight they had to operate again 5am tue morning as my right breast had doubled in size even with compression bandage and ice packs,I had drains in and the right one had drained 500mls and when they opened back up drained another 500mls and took out the biggest clot they had seen, once i woke up felt so much better and the swelling had gone down, came home wednesday afternoon and must admit have been fantastic since then, happy healing hunni xxx

Oh my gosh, I’ve just read through this whole thing from start to finish – what an ordeal I hope you are ok? I hadn’t thought too much about anything like this happening but at least they got you back into hospital to sort it out. I know this is not the right time for this question but was that included in the price or did you have to pay again? x
