Urgggghhhhh!!!!!!

Im having a nightmare, 7 weeks post op and soo happy with results but just got out of the bath and there is a stitch hanging out of my right scar, just phoned mya and she has said that this sometimes happens and the dissolvable stitches sometimes mirgate to the top, im totally freaked out it looks gross, got to go tommorrow and apparently they are gonna pull it out, has anyone else had this xxxx

when i first got my bandages taken off it looked like my stitch in my left boob was hangin out but it must ov disolved the nurse said just to keep an eye on it as it wasnt stickin out from the skin yet but now there is nothin thr at all and it looks fine.. dont worry few girls have said u dont feel anythin but a little scratch =] xxx

dont worry hun i had exactly the same some of my stitch didnt dissolve away got a little bit infected thats why they will want to take it out of you to stop it gettin infected the nurse will just pull it out doesnt sound nice but u cant feel it just like a bit of string dont worry she may put little dressing over or not mine was also 6 weeks post op xx

ah cheers karley, its mad isnt it how it looks totally healed and then it pops out lol hope it dont get infected though, did they just give u antibiotics? xxx

Random question but how long after your op are you allowed to have a shower? I dont have a bath at home, only a shower.

I had a loose stitch after my op!! and when i went to have them out, my nurse pulled it, and it was sooo long!! and left a tiniy hole, that healed a bit after!! yuk! it went through me loads! X

urgh im dreading it did it hurt? Im dead funny about stuff like this makes me cringe thinking of it x

:bigsmile:i know same here, they showed me my scars yesterday before putting the steri strips on and she said all the stitches are gone i am now scared about getting them wet incase stitches inside decide to show themselves?
ouch it also soo hurts when you sneeze!

i took anitbiotics and they put an iodine patch on for 4 days whcih dried it out completly didnt hurt atal xx

Ah well had it taken out and didnt hurt a bit, said to keep an eye on it and if it dont heal in 4 daays to call them back x
