urine infection and got BA coming up!!! aargghhhh!!!!

well just spoke to the nurse at mya and she said she cant see why that wouldnt be a problem, im taking nitrofurantoin, 4 times a day, for a week, and she feels that it wouldnt be a problem to mr singh either but… she cant get hold of mr singh until monday, so she said to keep taking it over the weekend.

i do hope mr singh does say, its only anitbiotics, so no probs there!!! i just cant face waiting again..

has anyone taken antibiotics during having a BA????

Im so depressed over this again…. oops……

just had a call from another nurse in mya and she said to, not worry, mr singh would rather operate on someone who is taking antibiotics, to clear up an infection, as oppose to someone who has come in and not taking anything at all, at least by then im sure my infection would have gone by weds as my full course finish on thurs and i started them today, so at least i would have taken them for 5 days so far til day of ba… oh, i feel such a plonker worrying like this, and my whole calorie controll diet thing is sooo out of the window 2nite!!!

Has anyone else been able to have their ba even if they are taking antibiotics? :

It’s much better to be honest and tell them everything, even if it means your procedure would be delayed, cause if anything went wrong, and you hadn’t told them, you would regret it. I’ve just booked in for my op, I’ve just gone all nervous!
