V12 & FIRST MEDICAL ISSUE

I rang V12 yesterday at 7pm after finding out that lots of girls have lost their finance. V12 said that there was no problem with my account and i should recieve the finance as planned.

I then received a phone call from somebody who claimed to be working for MYA saying that I will not recieve the finance and should reapply with First Medical now on the phone. Obviously as he rang me, I’m not going to discuss personal details over the phone so I said I’d talk to my PC in the morning. I told him that V12 said that my finance was secure only half an hour before he rang and he said their system hadn’t updated.

So I’ve just rang V12 again now and they are going to send me an email confirming that I will recieve my finance as planned for my op booked on the 30 Mar.

I’m confused, is something fishy going on here?

mmm that doesnt sound right at all hun, you did right to double and triple check here… have you spoke to your PC yet? xx

Not yet she’s consulting but reception said she will ring me back… But I’ll post up what happens

V12 have just rang me back they’ve told me my finance has now been withdrawn. What a fiasco!

when did you first get accepted hun? My pc earlier said that she had a list and I wasn’t on there for her to ring, but I’m still pretty worried! it all seems a bit of a mess! I hope you get sorted! xx

Hey everyone, i think there are a lot of conflicting messages being sent out by V12 – i’ve just spoken with them, my finance has been cancelled by MYA. this will not have a bad effect on your credit score but will show as a “footprint” on your record. first medical finance cannot match V12 and as for us ladies who have paid our deposits – we will have to wait til monday to find out what will happen with that. cancelling or rescheduling we risk losing it which is frankly disgusting. Mya are not at fault but it just goes to show that regardless of celeb endorsements, clever advertising and brand reputation anything can go wrong.

It’s so so bad! My pc was checking with MYA’s head of finance to check which names needed contacting, she said that if you are within 90 days of being accepted you should be okay! I’m not going to contact v12 as scared they will be think ‘yeah we’ll cancel hers too’ type thing! Lol I don’t think I’ll be able to have my op for a long while if they pull out! xx
