That’s great steph! I’m still sore when I wake up, but just take some paracetamol and I’m fine for the rest of the day. Can’t wait to get this vest off! The nurse told me 2weeks, but I’ve read people on here saying they kept theirs on for 4! X

Yeah I cant wait for Saturday to take it off. Becky just said 2 weeks for the vest then the suit on its own. I still get little bits of pain but as the days go on its less and less. Its the aching back that is annoying me now, just doesnt seem to go away. Hope we dont have to wear the vest for 4 think id freak out if she does say that, cant fit any clothes over it and feel like a tramp wearing hoodies etc lol x

Steph, I’m the same, the thought of 4 weeks is horrendous! I’ve felt like a tramp all week!!! Still need to cut more off the back cz it shows under my clothes!!! I’m seeing Becky again on Wednesday, she have me the same advice as you. It my back that hurts so much when I wake up! Can’t wait to sleep on my side again!!!! Xx

Hi Leanne, yeah it’s been a week now! I have to say it’s been a harder recovery than I expected but so, so, worth it. I never dreamt of such amazing results. I would recommend mr kazazzi he’s magic!!!! Xx

Yeah I would recommend him also, I just let him do what he wanted this time around as I trusted him and he knew how I felt about my stomach. I wonder if its the vest thats making our backs ache so much. Mine is mainly at the top wear the vest stops as if im not being supported plus not wearing a bra sometimes probably isnt helping :/. Just think Jane in another week we could all done with aching etc and have nice flat stomachs 🙂 xx

Eekkk can’t wait for that day steph!!!! It’s def the vest that hurts our back, I’m sure of it cz it’s changing my posture a bit. How long ago did you get thighs done? It makes me want them done too now lol!! Would you recommend? Is the recovery as bad? I think you deserve a medal having this and looking after your twins xxx

Yeah I agree I think its our posture. I had my thighs done in March hun was hardly any pain just swelling. You wear the same suit that we are wearing now just with longer legs so no daft vests ha. Took a bit time to get out of a chair and for the first week mobility was a bit restricted but no where as bad as this time lol. Thankfully the twins have been good, feeding them was a bit of a nightmare and changing them but its getting better. As soon as Saturday morning comes im in that shower and taking this vest off lol! xxx

Hi Jane/Steph, with regards to the swelling, do you have a lot and what does that mean with regards to your normal
Clothes? I live in fitted trousers for work and skinny jeans! Got a feeling they will still say no to vaser so mini tummy tuck may be my only option 🙁 as I have some loose skin when I bend down from having 2 babies. Heard the recovery time is much longer though and would mean a week off work! . Still need my love handles addressing though. Do you know what the discount is for 2 procedures? X

I’m 10 post op, don’t have a huge amount of swelling, but you have to wear a bulky 4d vest with a garment over the top for 2 weeks, so you need to wear loose tops over the top to hide the vest, also trousers with an elastic waistband as vest goes low down your sides and over your bum. Your surgeon with look at your skin tone and give you the best advice. I had to take a week off work after vaser, which I didn’t expect, because I was so sore and you are very restricted in your movements in the vest. Guess it depends on your job too. Don’t know about discounts, but def worth finding out! Xx

Hi girls can I ask how much vaser cost you? and worth it? Im very tempted to have something dome about my thighs

    Jane

Worth every penny Hannah. We’re not allowed to discuss prices on here, and it depends on the length of time your vaser takes your surgeon, if you book a consultation they will advise x

I was told to buy trousers in a bigger size as your legs do swell up quite a bit so wearing skinny jeans etc may be a no no for the first few weeks or so. But then again I had inner, outer thighs and knees done so that may be the reason. I still have a little bit swelling but my legs were swollen for longer mainly because you use them all the time (or I did having young babies was had to rest). Worth it though I have gone down 2 sizes in my trousers! Yeah Jane I see Becky tomorrow :), on a countdown to taking this vest of, what a nightmare, I hate going out as you can see the top bit at the back lol. Took my vest of today and can really see the difference xx

Yeh it’s the VEST COUNTDOWN!!! 3 more days for you steph and 4 for me!!! Just think how comfortable we will be!!! Sick of wearing baggy clothes and this ‘fat suit’ hahahaha x

bit of advise when you finally take the vest off (which i know is a massive relief) if you are wearing tight clothes be careful to start off with because by the end of the day you can swell a little and the jeans or pants leave indentations (they disapear but they are not nice) primark have the best fat pants which are thongs too so no VPL which you can wear stop it happening… they are good to wear when you start exercising too feels more comfortable. If you have had inner thighs done i dont think it would be as much of an issue but for stomach and flanks this will help.

Hi ladies, I had vaser on wednesday, I showered for the first time today but was quite disappointed to see there wasn’t a lot of difference in my shape from before, there doesn’t appear to be a lot of swelling or bruising and the surgeon only removed 1.2ltrs any advice? Thanksxx

You will be surprised you think there isnt much swelling but there will be, you defiantly have to be patient, when you are next in the clinic ask the nurse if she can put you before and after pic’s up on the computer. Its soo crazy when you look at it that way.

Remember not to do too much too soon too as this will slow your healing down too.

Only 2 weeks? My nurse told me I had to have the full thing on for 4 weeks and then the spanx suit thing for another 2 🙁 will see what she’s saying on Monday xx

    Jane

    Menu

Yeah we both saw the nurse at mya newcastle. After 2 weeks the vest can come off and we just need to wear a new smaller garment and ideally some spanx pants. I read on here that girls had to wear theirs for longer, but the nurse confirmed that wouldn’t be necessary. 4 weeks sounds hellish. Let me know what your nurse says xx

Hi steph! Took my vest of last night woohoo!!! However I’m a bit worried about getting an imprint where the garment hooks up? Gutted cz my new garment is way too small, gonna see if mya can swap it? Yey we can wear nice clothes again!!! Xx

Mine is a bit tight mainly around my waist not sure if its just because we will still be swollen though? Leaves me a bit breathless sometimes lol. Ive had some imprints too but im sure Amy said she had the same but it faded? Try the first garment and see if that fits better just put it on the tightest hook and see if that feels better. Im over the moon with my results 🙂 xx

Ahh me too Hun I’m thrilled. Feel so happy and so much more confidence. Yeah I’ve put my old garment on the tightest hook, just want a spare one cz I’m desperate to wash this one!!! Just spoken to Julie, she’s going to try and swap my garment for a bigger one and she says the imprint will just go. Think I’m just paranoid want everything perfect xx

Second day without vest and although I’m less restricted and not getting the back ache, I’m looking really swollen today. This is the first time I’ve really felt swollen. Was getting used to being skinny and now all bloated!! Feeling emotional too!!! Xx

Hey girls I forgot to check in after my appointment. My nurse is adamant we have to wear the vest for 4 weeks 🙁 I went out for the first time today only for a little walk to the shop and I’m in agony now. I wish I hadn’t and the garment is really squashing my left rib xx

I’m just wondering because I’ve got a thing to go to when I’m 3 weeks 1 day post op and I really don’t want to wear this vest for it. I’ll be ok to sneak it off for 24 hours won’t I? X

put spanks on or just your think garment not the vest, just for the day though as you dont want indents or to swell up again

Hi Jenni, Defo call and ask, Just make sure you still have your tight macom garment on… Depending on the area just go and buy some tight spanks thats what I did

I don’t mind the compression garments, it was the padding that was killing me. I rang them up and I can take it off just gotta keep an eye on swelling and put it back on if the swelling comes back :-/ surely if I left it 6 weeks, I’d still have the swelling anyway?!
