Very disappointed with my First Consultation :( Having second thoughts

I booked a late appointment at the Holborn Clinic, since I work full time and I work outside London. So I made sure I had plenty of time to get to the clinic. After getting stuck in traffic for almost 3 hours (From the M25 to Holborn) I got to the clinic at 19:10 for my 19:30 appointment.

I wasn’t seen until 19:55 at which point the patient coordinator was in a hurry to go home. I understand that.. however it was not my fault that they were running late.

To cut a long story short, my patient coordinator was in a hurry, giving me very vague answers. My first priority is to have a BA and I am considering the possibility of having lipo as well. But did not get much clarification from my patient coordinator at all. Also asked about the discount and she said that MYA has grown a lot lately and that there are no more discounts for last minute procedures since they are so popular that everyone sticks to their dates.

Also at one point, I asked her to repeat what dates the surgeon had available for the 2nd consultation to which she said she had already turned the computer off and she would call me in the morning.

Based on the kind of treatment I received today, it took any confidence I had away.

Is it possible to ask for a different patient coordinator? I still have many questions to ask in case I decide to go for both procedures.

Oh and I asked her to see pictures of before and after she said she would show me on the way out but never did.

I have always wanted a BA (since I was a teenager, I am a 36AA) and I was even willing to pay the 500 deposit to secure an op with Mr. Russo for July. When I mentioned about how I would pay for it, the PC said that she would call me in the morning and get the payment on my card.

I am totally disappointed with the whole thing.. and now started having second thoughts about it… My dream has been crushed….

Oh dear sorry to hear that, sounds like your pc was in a rush to get home and didnt want to fully answer your quieres because of this (sorry,stating the obvious).

I can understand that u feel let down as its your dream and i would too (still havent met surgeon so am a newbie). i know i hated when i couldnt leave the office on time but i think in this line of work the pc have to realise that a new client needs to be reassured and have all questions answered and not rushed out the door as its the first impression u get of the company. i don’t think she should ave turned off computer during your consultation but we are all human and who knows she may have had somewhere important to be?!

Try not to be too disheartened. im sure you can get a new pc if u want, just ring them or try a diff company.

typa75 rest assured when MYA mod see’s this post you will be getting a new appointment that is convenient to you,and you will be given all the answers you Should have had at first appointment,MYA will not be happy that you have been treated in such a way,so expect a call honey,I know first impressions are important,and when someone is paid to do a job it is not your problem if they are in a hurry,your money is potentially keeping them in work,so you should have had the attention you deserved,give them another chance and see what happens honey.xxx
