VITAMINS??

Hiya can any1 tell me why u can’t take vitamins before ur op?? N also can I still have my pro biotic healthy yogurts as they have vitamins in?? confused.com x

I’m taking vitamin C and Zinc, I saw the nurse today and she said I could continue taking the vit c and zinc before and after my BA. She said if your taking multi-vitamins you should stop taking it 1 week before your BA as it contains vit E which is a blood thinner. She also said that you should not take ibruprofen/neurofen/asprin 1 week prior to your BA, as they thin your blood too! If you need to take a pain tablet you should take paracetamol only.

You can also get multivitamins that do not contain vit e. Xx
