I have wanted my boobs done for 10/11 years now but waited until after i had children to see if they would grow anymore but they haven’t. I’ve been on this forum for quite a few weeks now and reading all of your stories and seeing pictures makes me wish i had the finances to do it before September (this is my ideal time of getting them done). I have a family holiday with my husband and 2 daughters in June so beforehand is just not fees able.

I am sat at work supposed to be working yet im on here reading everyones stories and can’t stop thinking of getting them done! I am booked in to see Mr Netri in a couple of weeks (i’ve already seen him at Transform but decided i want to go with mya instead), i also want to see Mr Traynor too.

Have any of you ladies took a loan out for the entire cost of the procedure and used the deposit from the loan? I am thinking of not putting a deposit down and getting a bank loan for it all or going with mya finance for it all but not sure if this would work..??

I got a loan for mine. Through sainsburys Bank for 5k and paying back over 5 years. I’m paying back £93 per month.. APR was brilliant 4.2% so I borrowed 5k and paying back 5.5k ish so only 500 ish interest over 5 years isn’t much. Was a very quick and easy process of getting the loan too. Completed application online they then rang me as needed proof of id so I have my driving licence number which was okay and then sent me document to sign and return and once they received it i had the money in my account in less than a week.

I’d definitely recommend it as long as you can afford the repayments 🙂 good luck xx
PS if you could afford to pay back more monthly then you can choose the period you want to repay them by I just played it safe xxx

I tried with Sainsburys last year and got declined. My credit rating is fair yet i have my car finance in my name, have 1 credit card with a £1500 limit on (currently have £1450 spent on it), my sofa on finance in my name and my mobile that is it yet i get declined so hoping my bank say yes and if not then try it in hubby’s name. I can get £5400 from my bank as a loan at 4.4% and pay back £6018 paying £100.31 per month. The Mya finance is a last resort as i only work 24 hours a week too “/

PS I’ve read your stories on here, yours look fab chick! xx

Mya is like 19.9% APR! I wouldn’t go with them even if it was my last option!

Ah I see well yeah either go with bank or do it in hubby’s name or a joint one. I put my mum on mine as a second person so that may have helped me as like you I only work part time at the minute so didn’t want to get declined. I didn’t have any other finance though currently.

Good luck with whatever happens though, it will be worth all the hassle and headache in the end lol.

I think you must have me confused with someone else as I’ve not posted any photos in the forums (I’m day 6 post op and have strapping on) although I’ve been commenting lots so probably just recognise me from that haha!! Best of luck hun xx

Don’t want to do it in joint as we then won’t be able to make 2 separate applications as we will have been declined already. My mum has said she will go down as a guarantor if that helps anything so..

Oh i do apologise, I’ve had a blonde moment (having lots of them at the moment) yep definitely got you confused with another lady!

Thank you, will be making the application after my holiday, although i want to do it now just out or curiosity if i will be accepted! xxx

Oh okay makes sense. Do it now for peace of mind as long as you know you won’t touch it lol I had about 3.5k saved up at one point but it being summer at the time I ended up spending it all on clothes, days out with my little boy and all sorts haha xxx

@gen wilkinson a lot of us girls can totally relate to how you feel . As that’s a long time and I’m the end when you really want it you go for it. I think your there! I was there too! 1.1/2 years ago I was trying alsorts to try get the money tried mya finance got declined , which iam glad of now there Apr is rediculous! I was just desperate! Then tried the bank and they would accept me but wasn’t aloud a lot. I got so sick of it , I just decided to open a savings account and started putting any money i had spare in there every week /month . Yes it takes a little time but you have gone all this time without it you can do it that little while longer. Then at least it’s paid and you owe nobody nothing! And you won’t worry about the repayments every month for the next 5 years! That’s a long time! 5 years!! I’m so glad I stuck it out and got the money together of my own back . Makes it that more greater for me. My ops in 18 days time and my pre op this Friday! 😀 I was desperate for it too . It is hard . But I’d never encourage such a big amount financed. good luck what ever u decide to do Hun xxx

I’ve called the bank earlier today and they have said due to it being a large amount that it would be best to make a joint application with my hubby. I just have an awful feeling we will be declined! If we are accepted then great I don’t mind having the money sat there until September and making repayments now – I can afford it at £100 per month. Booked in with them for 13th may xx

Kirsty thank you so much for you lovely advice and words, it just means I wouldn’t get it done for at least another 2 years and I’ve put it off this long because of finances and fear of not waking up from the anaesthetic that I’ve said to myself don’t put it off any longer and decided September as my kids will be back in school and doesn’t take me away from them during school holidays xx

@genski91 I have done the finance with MYA where you put half payment down and pay the rest interest free over the next 10 months if that is of any help? you start the re-payments the month after your op x

Thank You so much for the positive feedback girl’s!

@sophy It wouldn’t financially be possible for us to make those type of repayments over the 10 months other wise i would have done that hun!

    @kirsty
I have checked my husbands credit score as he wouldn’t ever check it as it doesn’t bother him and his credit score is like 340!! 😮 Mine is near 400 but i am now panicking that we wont get accepted via the bank (Santander) and then i am going to be truly gutted 🙁 xx

@charlotte I’ve just done another check on her re: finance. the 19.9% is on the ‘pay4later’ scheme. MYA finance is 9.9%APR. So in my case I could either do £600 deposit and 5 years at £94 repayment is £6120 or i could do 4 Years same deposit but £110 per month and repayment is £5880

Definitely appealing and more likely to be accepted and could always get my mum to apply if i get declined x

Hi Gen, if you haven’t already applied for a loan, try Zopa loans. Really good. I got accepted for 5k at an interest rate of 3.2% over 5 years! Xxx

Hi Alice, I got declined for Zopa but my hubby got accepted at a ridiculous APR. Going to try MYA finance at 9.9% as i have this awful gut feeling that we will be declined a bank loan for a joint one 🙁 xx

Aww your joking! Have you tried putting all your details in to money supermarket? It does a soft search on your credit score and will give you an indication of what you’re most likely to be accepted for. Best of luck with it!!! I Really hope you manage to sort something xx

Yeah and for some reason I have only been offered things with a very high APR but I think that’s down to having a lot of finance/credit already in my name as i had the better credit history between my hubby & I in the past so automatically put it in my name! Karma is a bitch!! I’m not wanting to get it done until September once my girl’s are back in school/nursery after their holidays but I wanted to see if I would be accepted out of curiosity! xx
