Just want to pop a msg on here and reassure some people looking to have their BA with MYA due to alot of negative comments on here. I’m currently 8 days PO and have nothing bad too say, from day 1 I have had a great experience, my PC ALexis is brill, always gets back to me within an hour or two, texts me or rings me.
My surgery was a breeze, admission time was 9:30am and by 11:30 was down in theatre, Mr Adamo was lovely, really reassuring and HONEST which i valued alot!!
Yes I had to wait a while to see Adamo at the Holburn clinic as he was running late – but you know what? He didn’t rush me when it was my turn, he obviously had to work late as well so it was no bother too me. On the day of the surgery we’d agreed to compromise on size, he specialises in the natural look as says he thought if I went more then 410 it would look fake. So i left it up too him.
The nurses at Highgate were amazing, so friendly and i couldn’t fault them.
The reception staff at Holburn are stuck up and rude, I won’t lie! But the nurses were fabulous! The nurse I saw yesterday to have my dressings removed was so nice, I wish i’d got her name now. But she really showed an interest and cared and didnt just concentrate on the operation itself actually took the time too talk to me and find out about me. She was a pleasure to talk too.
I also had problems with my pain, MYA Mod on here has msged me numerous times to check on me, Holburn clinic nurses rang me up, RANG ME to check on more then one occasion as did my PC.
I love my boobs, I really do, they are fantastic and the service I personally have had has been brilliant.
As i’ve said before, MYA are unique they have this site (i don’t know if others do) but having this is exposing themselves too the elements, because it means where people can, people will write negative comments, and rightly so as it educates everyone into their own perception of the company they are about to throw thousands at!!
So I think, yes MYA obviously has some downfalls and customer service some where along the line for some people needs too be addressed … But, you have to have your own experience and i’ve read at least 3-4 positive stories to every negative. If not more!
Nothings ever perfect, it’s life! But I just wanted people not too worry who have booked to have surgery etc, because personally, i wouldn’t hesitate to come back for something else if i wanted it!
