Well im 4 weeks post op and cant say iv really suffered post op with any pain etc. Just the expected in the first week then just got better n better. However i had my first cycle this week and i wish id been prepared for what can happen!!

Turns out i had a very n i mean VERY heavy period i flooded on more than one occasion, which as you can imagine is not good. Worse thing is i was at work n had to come home early and pretty much camp outside the toilet!!

Not a nice thing to share because us women pride ourselves on being clean etc but had i had this info i could have put provisions in place to prevent embarrasment. So thought id share this info with you. The nurse from MYA emergency line said its normal n a knock on effect from the annashetic and that it happens a lot. Just wish id known anyway just be sure to carry plenty of protection!!

On a good note my boobs are healing lovely, still a little sensitivity here and there, scars are looking good. So now just on countdown to when i can start to wear bras n go shopping!! :)

    Happy healing

Thanks girls, you could be fine hopefully, but if not at least your aware its something that can happen. I was freaking out especially due to my hormornes lol. Felt better knowing that its normal just hope my next period is back to MY normal as it was real hard to cope with.

    Happy healing xx
