Was going to book with MYA today but…

…found out that Mr Traynor is working from South Cheshire Hospital on 19th April. There is no way I am travelling 3hrs back to Newcastle after my operation…i picked my sister in law up a few years ago from Manchester and drove her home and she hated it. So I am calling the Nuffield and paying them tomorrow…mind made up. If I travelled down it would cost a extra £70 in diesel and £160 for a hotel for my bf. nightmare xx

I toyed with the idea of going to Nuffield (I’m also from Newcastle) but my friend’s sister had hers done at Nuffield in December and it turned into a nightmare. They didn’t do their research properly and instead of realising that one of her boobs needed one size and the other needed different, they fit 2 the same size and she had to have the op re-done and her healing time was horrendous. Plus, with the Nuffield, there’s higher chance of MRSA as you’re in a hospital where lots of patients are in for various other things. x

It was my friend’s sister but I don’t know the name of her surgeon. Can find out for you. She was trying to recommend me to go with him but I’d never heard of anyone having to have the op re-done the next day because of a mistake like that. I just thought, that’s not what I’d expect of the Nuffield. I hope she got some money back! I’ve booked my boyfriend into a B&B near to the South Cheshire hospital for only £39. He can rough it, he doesn’t mind! x

Is it confirmed that Mr Traynor is in South Cheshire on 19th April? I will stay at my Sis’s house in Wrexham the night before if that’s the case. I don’t really care though. I just want my new boobies!!! xxx

lisa im from newc. i wuldnt reccomend the nuffield.2 of my friends has them done there last yr and there both having re ops this yr. the surgeons there arent breast specialists and they do no research or even ask what u want! they wanted to be a dd at least. one got 280cc and the other 320, far to small. plus nuffield is more expensive than mya. by the time u pay furl plus hotel its still cheaper? x

I wouldnt recommend nuffield either. Plus another girl has had a rubbish consult with them.

Melissa…..I agree with the girls…..Really…..I work for the NHS….a friend of mine also works for the NHS…..she went Nuffield…..in October……I went Mr Traynor in Manchester…….she is still having big problems…..I am happy as a pig in shit…..seriously…….you are paying alot of money for your boobies…..and compromising a good surgeon with diesel and a cheap b&b is a no brainer ……in my humble opinion….Good luck with it all anyway xx

i am suprised that you will be able to go home the same day with a ba uplift and tummy tuck.(OR HAVE I GOT THAT WRONG) i thought an overnight stay would be compulsary and included in the price. its alot to have done, i would want to stay that night, i am sure you will be on strong painkillers and will not be feeling the worst of it until a few days later.

My friend’s sister had Joe ODonohue at Nuffield. She’s chuffed with the end result but like I said, had to have re-op. x

Melissa, I really don’t want to scare you but my friend’s sister has also just informed me that she has heard of 4 other girls recently who also had theirs done at Nuffield. Two of them have had re-ops and the other two have had to have theirs redone 3 times. I’m really shocked. x

How much have they quoted you? If it’s any help, they matched Transform’s price for me. So I’ve got transport there and back and an overnight stay for £4095. x

Just want to say – maybe of help??? I know I only had BA & ur having alot more BUT… I travelled hone 3 hours in car morning after my BA & I was fine! I was on a high & really happy!! (now I can’t remember jorney tho so may have been drugged! Lol) If u r having a 2 night stay I think with pain killers u will b fine to travel home in car for 3 hours! It’s not as bad as it seems! I ha my Macom on and had v.pillow & blanket. Happy days!!! Good luck but if I were u I choose the hospital with bet surgeon & aftercare not price & travel home!!!
