Washing hair?

Hey how long did everyone wait till the washed there hair? Or got someone to wash it for them? Iv been getting my sister to wash my fringe and dry shampooing my hair, but god I feel vile and struggling not being abit to have my hair washed! Haha. So just seeing when everyone lasted till.? Xxx

put your head over bath and get someone to wash it for you thats what im going to do haha xx

That’s what I was thinking but dint no if I could do that or if it was bad to do… Ha. Just feel vile and here is only so much dry shampoo you can use haha xxx

i know my friend had them done helped her wash her hair as long as its not a high bath if you can go on your knees she was fine xx

Awww fab might get my sister to wash my hair tomorrow then yeah not bothered about getting on my knees to have my hair washed ? thank you xxx

@nitnat24 I got my friend to wash my hair yesterday when I was 3 days post opp and it was fine. I just kneeled with my head over the bath, as long as you don’t get your dressings wet you’ll be fine x

@jaybr90 thank you, my friends going to come this morrning and and wash it. Did you manage to dry it yourself or did your friend do it?
I think I can straighten it but don’t no if attempting drying and straightening it will be a bit to much as my right incision is still quite sore xxx

@nitnat24 I’d definitely get them to dry it as hairdryers are quite heavy and would probably be too much strain, I think I could have straightened mine but just got my friend to do it all to be on the safe side xx

I went and got mine done in a salon! X

I dry shampooed until a week post op. Felt absolutely disgusting but I just didn’t wanna risk too much bending etc in first week then when I was 1 week PO I went and got a blow dry in the salon. Xx

Maybe sit on a stool with back to sink and lean over like in the salon….my sister is going to was mine like that. X
