washing hair after BA??

I’m 5 days post op, iv have little sponge baths but im desperate to wash my hair, the showers broken so it means im going to have to bend forwards over the sink and get my mum to do it.. am i OK to bend fully forwards as i was told not to after my op as it can cause swelling? is that still the case 5 days after? how did you guys go about washing your hair in the first week? please help i feeel grossss! x

I got my husband to wash mine over the bath every other day from day 2 – didn’t realise I wasnt supposed to lean forwrd! Oops! Didn’t seem to do any harm though xx

Ahh good, im sure she m aybe just meant dont do it straight away, i just didnt think to ask for how long lol so did it not hurt when u lean them forwards?? lol i feel like i need to keep hold of them lol xx

I washed mine 2 days after by myself but i wasn’t in pain or anything. Always better to ask somebody for help x
