    Hey Girls,

Really random, I have my op in a week and I read somewhere that you should wash with a certain type of soap before your surgery! What shampoo, conditioner and soap did everyone use?

    Thanks xxx

I just used my normal stuff, I wasn’t told to use anything in particular. Just no deodorant or moisturiser x

I think some people can use a certain wash, something like hibiscrub or whatever ta called, but I didn’t get told I just used my normal stuff. I’d maybe phone up and just ask if she mentioned something specific.

My op went really well. Every now and then I think back the day and just feel so strange that I’ve been through all that and it’s done. I literally thoughts about it everyday and how I thought it would go, and then it finally came and it’s now over! Ha. Everyone is really nice. I was home by that evening. And I’m really pleased so far with how my boobs look so far, bar the blemishes/rash I seem to now have, but I think that’s down to strapping. My left is softer than my right, so just massaging them everyday, which is weird haha xx

Ahh good luck! Honestly. The day goes quickly, I’ve had days where I’ve got really sick and tired of the recovery, like not driving and the sleeping positions, but I’m so pleased I’ve done it and completely outweighs all the bad! Xx

You can use whatever you want to wash yourself pre op but post op my nurse recommended using a none fragranced body wash to avoid aggravating my incisions. X

I was told to get some Hibiscrub and use it twice before surgery also wash hair with it .. I dont think sanex does the same .. the Hibiscrub is for use before operations and kills bacteria .. x
