Washing your hair!?

Back from my one week post op appointment, had my dressings removed and the nurse says I can now shower but not to get any soap on the incisions.

But how am I supposed to wash my hair without getting soap near them?!

Over the sink.

I was told to wash my upper boobs with johnsons baby wash and let it run down by boobs etc. xx

Ahhh, have to carry on doing it over the sink then. How long should I wait until I can wash it in the shower again?

I washed mine today 4 1st time in shower. im 3 weeks, But i also lent forward when i done it, im just being extra safe. xx

How do you girls get on drying and ghd’n afterwards?

My mum helped me wash my hair in the bath after four days and I straightened my hair after five days. My arms were tired afterwards but sort of managed it! My mum blow dried my hair for me though lol xx

I* could straighten mine after 6 days, But i did often put my head forward so my arms did not have to go to high..xx

My mum’s been washing and drying mine so far, but I managed to straighten it myself this evening, woo

Will wait until about 3 weeks until I wash it in the shower then. Want to be really safe.
