Watch out for friend requests by odd names

“dirtyharri” for example has just friend requested me. Have done a forum search for posts/ mentions and nothing… have ignored the request. Watch out for these girlies.. who knows who they could be!

I’m only accepting if they have some activity on their profile and have bothered to fill their info out a bit. I figure that anyone genuinely interested in being here will do that. And those just here out of interest will at least have a few posts in the forum.

yea as soon as i put pictures up i had a load of friend requests of people id never heard of. so i only accepted people id spoken to or are regulars on the forum, sorry to any1 i declined x x x

Girls, does anyone else think this forum should be password protected?? I.e only when you make contact with MYA, they give you an access code? xx

These kinda posts are a bad idea. Like its been said knights was on the end of it a couple of weeks ago. As for the “random” friend request a few names on here sent me them before speaking to me……….

I definatly saw a post from dirty harri,I remember wondering why the name was in black,and when you clicked on it it didnt go to the profile,Think I was just been nosey and quite a few people had replyed.

Sorry in advance if this particular user is perfectly innocent. as soon as i’m off my phone i’ll edit the name out. Think the message about not accepting randoms without at least a bit of a check up stands though. I’m usually the first to say don’t worry, it’s not like blokes want to look at our boobies how they are now lol, but that made me think.

Ive informed MYA these people are you the site to get new business,totally out of order, new members logging in will log straight back out because this is clogging the home page,this site is a crucial support forum,for some girls who have no where else to turn for support and advise,its happening virtually on a daily basis too.they have started to set up groups,non surgery related,its mad.

To be honest when I first came on to the site a seen a post like that and I thought what the hell? I don’t want to talk to them about boobies!! Lol took me a few weeks to build up the courage to make a profile. It doest help when there’s that kind of stuff on here xx

yeh i haven’t really seen many of these, but it does seem to be happening more frequently and i have had requests from quite a few people since i had my op and posted my pics, whose profiles looked a bit dodgy and so i haven’t added them. xxx

I feel the same but its a big bad world out there and if there is any pervs on this site i think theyd be alot more clever!! they would proberly have a profile pic and have made comments could even have a complete profile!!!!

Its sad to think this could happen but by joinin a forum you set yourself up for this and need to be aware!!!

I live in the hope that every1 on her is genuine but you just never know!!!
