wearing a bra 2 weeks post opp..

Hey all,

thought ide wear a bra today for work, i havent been gettin any discomfort. i was wondering if anyone else wore a bra so early and does it cause damage? xxx

I asked this question post op too. I was told that the pocket around the implant needs time to heal and wearing a under wired bra is not good for them.

Try getting a non underwired bra if you want to wear one for work. I was lucky, the job i was in at the time was no inform or smart clothes, I was in casual clothes for a good few weeks after.

I took the wire out of my bra, do you think this will make a difference? xxx

Shouldn’t do. Speak to your nurse. They will prob advise against it but get some advice.

Wearing the unattractive sports bra’s or no bra at all is the worst part of getting new boobies

Believe it or not you will prob find wearing an underwire bra uncomfortable at first, 6 weeks without them feels like a life time!
