weight loss with overs

is it true if u lose weight when youv had overs it will affect the look of boob eg rippling???

Any substancial amount of weight loss will effect the look of your breasts,even if you didnt have a BA,so i would say yes,if you lose weight and breast tissue this will effect the look of your breasts,many mambers have posted that they had slight rippling from weight loss,and that the rippling improved or disappeared when the weight was gained,so reaching your desired weight before BA, may be the best option.xxxx

I never thought about this girls! How much weight would have to be lost for it to cause rippling ect? xx

hiya reg i think it would depend on how much weight you loose/gain from ur boobs now, i know when i used to put on weight it never went to my boobs just my legs and bum! and i never lost any from my boobs, but helena still reccomended that i have unders incase i do deicde to loose weight as it could cause rippling and for if i have kids etc x

So can you choose to have unders then? Or does the surgeon choose for you? I havent had my consultation yet so im abit unsure. Im meeting surgeon next wednesday 19th cant wait! xx

the surgeon will tell you what they think is best, originaly she told me overs and i was thinking oo its meant to be a quicker recovery time see results quicker etc so i was looking at overs, then i went back at my pre op and to see her again for a 2nd opinion and she changed it to unders! so i was like omg ive been thinking i was hvaing overs but she said in the long run unders would be best for me with less chance of rippling etc. im really happy with how my boobs are at the moment and i didnt have any pain at all just achey arms etc but thats normal so unders havnt been a problem at all, just depends on what they think is best for you, and yeah ill accept you now gunna try and get some pics up asap, im 16 days post op and still not got any up yet lol! x

I have to have overs as my boobs are tubular so i didn’t have a choice. I think i would have prefered unders but oh well il still have gorgeous boobies lol! x

im goin 2 lose abit of weight before op then if i put abit of weight on it shudnt effect me, thats 1 way of keepin ur weight the same =)and i dnt think u have a choice with overs or unders, the surgeon chooses for u, its to do with breast tissue x

Ok well im seeing surgeon next wednesday so he should tell me what he thinks is best for me then. I want to lose a bit of weight coz not gonna be able to exercise for a while after am i so dont wanna put any on. Thanks Girlies xx

i said to her too i wanted to loose a bit of weight b4 op… i gain weight lol! and i need to loose it but i rli dont have any motivation at all plus i have a sit down job!! x

amanda1982,thats probably because half a stone would not effect you honey,I read on the internet,something like 14 pounds,ill try find the link,I think she would have said something to you if she was concerned,so please dont you worry,xxx

I also have about half stone to loose pre op but was told to have overs cos have good breast tissue so hope this will be ok and dont plan to loose any more weight after the op hoping the boobies will even me out and will look better anyway 😆
