Haven’t spoke to you girls in a while now but I have been so busy!! I went for my normal one week check up and everything was looking brilliant. I had a little more swelling in the right boob but nothing to concerning!! Then a couple of days later the trouble started. I was getting a lot of pain in my right boob and my scar was leaking so I phoned up Alice my nurse at the Nottingham clinic who got me an appointment for that day!! I was then booked to see Mr.Mounir for the Saturday and then surgery was booked for the following Monday, all of this happening just 11 days after my BA!! Alice and Mr.Mounir was brilliant and thought it was a seroma even though I shouldn’t have been getting the pain, it wasn’t till the operation that he actually realised what was happening inside!! In just the small amount of time of 11 days my body had rejected the implant and I had a capsular contracture and a small seroma in the right boob!! I was gutted!! I’m still in quiet a bit of pain now due to the amount of scar tissue they had to remove and the surgeries being so close together. They have all been brilliant and are now keeping a very close eye on me!! Please message me if you have any questions at all xxxxx

Ps…. This is very very rare and a CC hardly ever happened with a seroma and especially this early on. It was just pure luck that I had the signs for it early on and Mya was so brilliant to sort it all ASAP xxx
