what are maccoms?

^^^ This is the website for the Macom bras. They’re the bras the surgeons/nurses advise you to wear after your op, day and night for 6 weeks (just to give support and hold everything in place)

thanks gabby, noone has ever mentioned them to me and this is my 2nd BA il be having!! did you use one? did it make a diff to a normal sports bra coz there a bit pricey arent they!

They’re a compression bra which is purposely meant for post surgical procedures to keep everything intact. I’d recommend a Macom or at least a sports bra with maximum support e.g. Not the simple plain light ones you can get but the thick Nike ones.. Maybe one like this…

^^ these bras provide maximum support and prevent the “bounce” effect you may get if you were to buy a thin cheap one!
