I am not gonig for my consultation until next week with the operation booked for the following week as I am travelling from the Isle of Man. In preparation I want to get my post op bra but am not sure of what size. I am currently a 34B ( well thats only with my chicken filllets, more like 34a). I want to go to a large C small D. Do I still get a 34 in the bra but either a c or d cup or can the swlling meaning that I should go up a width?

If you’d like to be D get a D, take it with you for your consult and then you can try the implants ion it with the surgeon. Not sure if you will need to go up a width but if you do get a 36C if you’d like to be a 34D

dunno if this’ll help, I WAS a 34A but I WANTED to be a 34E cup, I bought a 36D 36DD and 34E bras, all were too sore to wear straight after my op and I ended up buying a 38E which was the only comfy bra I could get, now 1 weeks post op im in my 34E bra and its just right, Id get a few different sizes if i were you….Mines are from asda, black low impact sports bras, only £4

Although the Macom bra is reccommended I didnt fancy buying a £30 bra which MIGHT not fit or that might fit when I first got it but once swelling went down it didnt etc etc. plus Im a poor student lol, so Iv ended up with like 6 bras all around £4 each (still cheaper than the macom) and Im glad I did as some of the ones that arent comfy right now probably will be once the swelling’s gone. Just take all this into consideration when buying hun x

It’s so difficult to determine what size you will be after op!! I bought a macom bra online weeks before my op, medium size but to fit up to an F cup, tried it on when it arrived and even with my previous 34b chest, it was still VERY snug fitting. I thought if it feels like this now it definately won’t fit me after op, so I sent it back and ordered a large size, which came day before my op and fitted okay and I thought it would fit okay after op. I was so wrong!! After my op was way to tight!! I’ve since sent this bra back for refund and, my bf rushed out and bought me two white sports bras from tesco, 40DD!! Which fits okay, as most of the sports bras were sold out!! My nurse did advise me to buy a few 34E sports bras though, my bf just got the biggest sports bras at the time whilst I was in hospital. Sizes are so confusing as I have found!! Hope this helps xxx

Thanks everyone.. unfortunately there is no asda in the Isle of Man so my choice is limited to M&S. I have bought a 34D from M&S today but already it feels snug. Can anyone reccomend any wesites that might deliver quickly that are cheap enough?

You can order at Asda or Tesco online honey, you might have to pay extra for next day delivery though, if they will deliver to isle of man that is? Maybe phone them to check… Or maybe you could exchange your M&S sports bra for a larger size? I reckon maybe you could go for 34dd? As you’ll have a lot of swelling from op xxx
