What bras 6 weeks post op?…

Hi girls!
I’m 6 weeks post op tomorrow, it’s gone sooo fast I can’t believe it!
Got my check up on Tuesday but dying to go shopping and get measured today or tomorrow lol.
Does anybody know what bras I can and can’t wear? I seem to remember I can’t get under wired?
Any help would be great 🙂

I thought after your 6 week check you was allowed to wear underwired bras. Im 7 week PO and have bought 2 underwired ann summers boost bras but haven’t yet wore them as my surgeon said leave it another 2 weeks b4 wearing bras until im 8 week PO xx

Hi zoe i was 8 weeks on thursday i was told not to wear underwired for another 2 weeks after my 6 week check up, i went bra shopping on sat and im really upset more now than what i was before i had my op coz im struggling to find my back size, i use to wear a 32a and when i got measured theyve said 28ff or a 30f not many places sell small back sizes sorry for the rant im just really annoyed coz ive come away with nothing still wearing my sports bra xx

Oh no!!! I know exactly what you mean, I got measured yesterday as 30ff or 32f and I used to wear 32/34! Just had 6 week check up and yeh I cant wear under wired for another 2 weeks and she sai not to drop down to that back size at first as might rub incisions. What size did u have? I had 410 & 460 and was hoping for d/dd so ff came as a shock lol but no way do they look that big?! I went boux avenue and they start at 30 and go to a G and have lots to choose from 🙂 xxx

i had 325 overs, i went to boux ave on sat spent hours in there think i tried on the whole store near enough well what they had in my size anyways but none of them felt or looked comfortable to wear all day long, one of the girls at work today told me to go debenhams some bras in there start at a 28 back or either bravissimo xx

I haven’t got a clue what size I am right now. My dd sports bra is too small, got measured as a 32f but they didn’t have any so gave me a 34e which seems okay. I tried an online calculator which said i was only a 32d, but then calculated it myself and found myself to be a 32e/f. So bloody confused, think I am just going to have to go in to a shop and try every single one on ha ha x

It’s so hard! I went back in tonight lol to get a 32 so got 32f as e was too small so must be right just sounds massive. Yeh I know what u mean Yasmin I’m too comfy in my sports bras lol!! Xx

i wasnt alowed to wear normaql bras till after 8 weeks i got told off for wearing a normal bra without under wire in to my check up, wouldnt mind but i was only seeing how it felt that morn and forgot to change it lol, if you get messured id just get what you feel comfy in u can start to wear underwire ones i think but turn up to ur post of in sports bra lol , had my op in jan and i actually still favor sports bras to proper bras unless its a balconete type bra
