And Also what to expect after surgery ? I heard if u don’t where a bra for like 6 week they can
Set really far apart is this true? How to look after the wounds?? So many questions I just want to be prepared
I have two children a 4 month and a 3 and half I’ve managed to get help with the kids to be looked after but I’ll be on my own
And I’m worried I won’t be able to do a thing for myself. What pain killers can I take and how do I know which size sports bra to
Choose? Arghhhhh 9 days to go. I am in on the 22n I’m going to be sore as hell Xmas day!!! Can I have a drink New Year’s Eve at least???? Someone help meeee hehe xxxx

You have to wear a bra at all times for the first 6 weeks (apart from showering obvs) you don’t really do anything to your wounds. I was strapped up for a week, when I went and had the strapping taken off they had scabbed up, you can’t have a bath for 6 weeks just showers, so that the scabs don’t get too wet and come open and you can’t put any moisturisers/fake tan etc on the actual incisions. I have a 5 year old and 2 year old, I was on my own looking after them from 2 days po so im sure you’ll be ok just looking after yourself. Just make sure things you need Arent in high up places because you won’t be able to reach up for about a week. As for drinking it was my wedding anniversary10 days after my op and I had a few to drink but not many. More because if I was too tipsy I might roll over into them in the night or something. Good luck 🙂 xx

Some of the advice I have had come across includes wearing your sports bra the full 6 weeks, think i’m going to wear mine at night for longer! I’ve heard of taking arnica tablets too to help with bruising. Dont try doing too much too soon esp if your taking all the meds as they mask the pain and although you feel grand, you may end up doing too much too soon, make the most of the fact that you can rest up 🙂

my two girls are 12 months and 2.5 yrs and I’m a bit worried about them wanting to cuddle and climb on me etc, should be ok for cuddles as long as my hubby lifts them to me, i hope! luckily i’ve got help for 2/3 weeks as my hubby is off.

my post op check is on 23rd and i also have a meal booked out that night in a restaurant that does lovely cocktails so i’m hoping i can have one or two! its to do with your blood thinning i think and risk of bleeding!

good luck for you op! and defs keep us all updated 🙂 xx

To be honest I problably wont end up having any! I wouldnt want to risk anything happening..! spending too much money for me to risk my healing!
its hard with young children isnt it, coz they dont quite understand yet why you cant do much with them, and why your sore etc! I had 2 sections, first time was ok but second time my little girl was only 17 months and wanted picked up, and played with straight away, broke my heart when i couldnt let her….luckily i recovered quick so wasnt for too long and i’m hoping for the same with my boob op! xx

Ive had a c section so the 2 compared well straight after surgery i was in complete agony with my boobs i could hardly breathe for the pain.. i made sure i got tramadol prescribed.. it made everything a breeze!.. my c section was not as painful at first but recovery was harder.. overall boob job was the easiest.. just make sure u eat well, sleep sat up to help the swelling.. have a v pillow and ice packs.. godsend lol xx

Everyone has different experiences with the pain. Honestly, it was painful for about an hour or two after I woke up it after that i was fine with just the co-codomol. After the day of surgery it was just discomfort more than pain. I must have been a lucky one or just have a high pain threshold lol. But ive given birth twice, naturally and the pain down there after was worse than boob job pain xx
