what can i take when i run out of painkillers?

When i finish the meds they gave me at hospital am i able to take anything else for the pain? Thanks ladies xx

i got extra strong ibuprofen there in a red box i think, better than what the hospital gave me tbh as they did nothing for my pain xx

Just normal paracetamol hun. I was told by nurse at pre op not to take Ibuprofen as it’s an anti-inflammatory and should just let it happen naturally . Also don’t take Asprin for at least 2 weeks after I think as it thins the blood x

You can get co-codomol prescribed by your G.P. It’ll take the edge off the pain and the codeine gives you a great wee feeling lol.

Over the counter isn’t really that strong. I’d goto your GP.
