What did you eat?

Because I’m nosey (&greedy lol) what did you have to eat in hospital?

Mine was lush I had a prawn cocktail nom nom, a cheese butty and cheesecake wiv a cup ov tea But i could have had more if i wanted hehe. Theres a wide choice hun x x

lasagne and ice cream, it was delicious but I didn’t eat much because I was so tired x

Really nice. Better than NHS ****. I had toast, soup, sandwiches, jacket potato, ice cream and loads of coffee and biscuits. I did order mushrooms stuffed with spinach and cheese with salad but left before it came. I was pretty gutted!! X

The only time I ever had hospital food was when I had my daughter & was stuck in the hospital for a week. It was rank!

I think I’m more excited about the food than getting boobs lol x

mine wasnt very nice i had this tomato and basil pasta-from the specials menu and it didnt taste of anything, so left most of that but had vanilla ice cream and i could have eaten more!! lol x

will i get food being a daycase?xx

Yes hun i was a day case and i was offered a menu to choose from, it was very nice. You need to have some food before you leave as you wont have eaten for quite a long time xx

I was an overnight and chose a 3 course meal which I never got!

I got the starter (a bowl of heinz tomato soup) but didn’t get the roast chicken dinner or fruit and icecream!! I got told afterwards it was just a frozen ready meal anyways so wasn’t too bothered – yuk!! x

I was at First Trust, Preston.

The nurse that greeted me, settled me in etc first thing was so lovely. But i think she must’ve clocked off in the afternoon x

was meant to have toast, pasta n soup but couldn’t touch it

eventually had some fruit salad and a lil bit of steak-best steak I’ve ever had was well nice!! an a spoon of cheesecake but then felt sick again bludy meds!x

Nothing I got there at 1pm hadn’t eaten since 7pm the day before and coz I didn’t have my op until 10pm I didn’t eat for 29 hours. Eventually had a piece of toast at about midnight. Then had egg on toast for breakfast at like 6am was starving lol xxx

Mmmmmm, food was very nice. Jus finished roast chicken meal, crusty tuna mayo for starter and apple pie. Yes u do get food for daycases. Thought I would go off but was first thing I asked for wen woke up, greedy days me!

I had penne ********** followed by French yoghurt at lunch, this was after tea and toast. For dinner I had mushroom soup, followed by steak, veg and new potatoes. Then another French yoghurt. Could have had ice cream and a few other things. It was all gorgeous xx

i had salmon with mash potatoes and seasonal veg and a fruit salad desert, i didnt have starter coz i didnt fancy any xx
