Hi Pauline, ur ops in Glasgow isn’t it? Mine was there last week. All I took was a pair of PJ’s (front fastening), dressing gown and slippers (although didn’t need those as they take you down to theatre on the trolley so don’t have to walk, and you put on the hospital gown to go to theatre anyway), change of underwear including new, bigger bras!!, toiletries and clothes incl. loose front fastening top for going home in. You’re allowed your mobile phone so don’t forget ur charger too. I took a couple of magazines but to be honest, I was feeling so sleepy and sick after the GA, i didn’t bother with them but hopefully you’ll be feelin great.
