Im booked for July 5th and im having a day case.. i live 45 mins from the hospital so im just going to come home (they like you to be close by in any case of emergency) i think 2 hours should be okay ? ask your pc?.. usually its when people live like 3-5 hours away that they stay over night in a hotel near the hospital then go home in the morning when alls okay
hope that helped xxxxx
Had a day case yesterday admitted at half 9 operation at 12 n I left at 4 n travelled 3 hours there and 3 hours back. Xxx
i live about 2.5 hours away but they advised to stay close just in case. its a long way to come all the way back in emergency. xx
Take some vaseline or lip balm & also don’t forget your toothbrush in case you stay over night or your sick. Also hair bobble without metal for surgery instead of having to put a hat on. And bottles of water for journey home
xx
