what do i tell work?

Im just wondering what other girls have told there employer? I have used all my holiday and need to book the week off work but dont think i can get a letter till after my op and i dont really want to tell them what im having done any advice thanks xx

You dont need to tell them what ur having dun at all if your gunna have to book it off with a sick note you can tell them ur having an op, n it will probs say that on ur doctors note anyway, but u dnt have to tell the any more then that x

ok do i need to inform them that im having an operation? does the hopsital give sick note after op then or do i have to go to my own gp? thanks

i think ur gp gives them, but im not 100% sure, maybe ring ur gp and ask im sure they would be able to tell you, but they usually have to write on the sick note why ur having the time off so you could ask them to put uve had an op not put a BA if u dont want work knowing i think x

My ps gave me a sick note for 2 weeks off after the op and i just told work i was having an op to do with ladies things and it was personal, luckily my boss is a bloke and the thought of a conversation about periods sent him running for the hills so i didnt have to go in to it! work cant argue with a sick note!! x
