What do people really think of the Mya service?

Starting to wonder if it’s really as good as it used to be how is everyone finding it so far?

I guess I’ll soon see when it comes nearer my date if I get any updates blah blah heard a lot of stories about people not even getting calls before ops etc and I can somehow imagine that’ll be the case with myself!!

Ive read that some girls have had issues But i must say i didnt get a hitch,my pc was fab! x

I had my BA yesterday and MYA have been great! I had my check up booked at my pre op and my pc text me the day before to wish me luck. When I got home today the nurse from MYA rang to check I was ok and if I had any questions etc so I’m really pleased so far with the service! I’m sure u wont be disappointed xxx

Tbh i think its h*t. My nurse was lovely at first until i got a problem then she made me feel like i was lying. Then i wrote something on here not at all bad and she rang me to tell me off! Then i couldnt get any post op appointments until i was 7 months post op!! Tbh the whole thing was shockig….although the staff at highgate were amazing!xx

That’s terrible!! I hate hearing things like that because we all pay so much money and the aftercare should be top notch! Luckily for me so far so good but as I have not any problems I spose I’ve not really had to utilise their aftercare xx

TBH my PC has been brilliant… however I had a rather disturbing call from a nurse today, it went… ring ring..missed call..so

I called back immeadiately and spoke to the girl on reception, said i didnt no what the call was about but that I had just missed a call, she said it might be the nurse so put me through…(nurse says) just ringing to book your post of app (my ops next wed) for the 18th Oct i said yep thats fine she said its in birmingham and i said oh no im based in nottingham so thats fine we changed it to the 16th oct…no probs so far…then she says…its just ive got to book it in now as i no you have previously had a ba and youve had probs with capsular contraction in the past….i was shocked said ive never had a BA before…she then says oh well it mist be that you have an existing condition are you waiting for bloods back from your pre-op…i say no my pre-op was fine i didnt have bloods and i have no exisiting medical conditions and never have had any…she says ok no problems then see you on 16th oct bye and puts phone down!

Now im worried… if they dont no who the hell i am then how do i no im going to get the right implants etc on the day…

apart from this my service from mya has been great hpwever i had read a lot of horror stories on here and just hope after my op i dont have any problems other wise it looks like i might be up sh*t creek!

Mines been okay so far I mean my pc is lovely n done a lot to help but dunno something different about this time and I guess reading sole stories on here you panic hoping you won’t be treated the sane, I understand business is business but it’s like you say it’s a private service we are paying for..

And did your pc really say something? If so how unprofessional!! X

My PC has been great bmy admission time was not told to me. I had to call them myself…!! The highgate hospital staff were great I loved it there. The reception wer pe a bit rubbish. They kept sending me receipts that were completely incorrect. Booked me in wi a different surgeon. A different date and the receipt said I paid more than I had. But my actual OP went well and I’ve had a post op with nurse and I’m booked to see my surgeon when il be 8 weeks PO. xx

i have had to use mya aftercare for the last 2 weeks, i have been up mya nearly every day and i must say, they have been brillant, my pc hannah is fantastic, mr singh has been great, i have seen twice since my op and they even refunded me the money for my antibotics. At the moment i dont have a bad word to say. x

Surgeon – Mr. Kazzazi is seriously THE BEST! Could not have wished for better! Totally honest, does not bullshit or cajole you into what HE wants to give you, and does not budge on his judgement if he thinks your frame can’t take it. Very calm and professional, and answered all my questions and made me feel confident and happy with my choice, and with the way he’s treated me since (4 months post op & I’ve seen him 3 times since).

Emergency line – FAB! I rang very night i think for about a month LOL with one thing or another and they were so good. Very cool, calm and collected, interested, not rushed, and really helpful. Had me in to see them on one occasion when they were worried about something i asked about – i was booked in within 2 days.

Nurses – See above. I didn’t get a call right before my op as PC suggested I would, which i was annoyed about, and no one rang me after, again, a disappointment. But apart from that they have been fab, very attentive when i’ve seen them or called.

PC – Only really saw her a couple of times. She wasn’t bad. Not overly attentive, but can’t really fault her. Very helpful when I needed information to make a complaint due to the hospital.

Hospital – Park Hill, Doncaster was not a good experience. The theatre staff were brill, but night nurse/ staff, and reception are awful.

Overall I did find MYA a little pushy sales wise, but they are a sales company so i fully expected that, so no nasty surprises. I have found them on occasion to be lacking in attention, but 90% of the time very, very good.

I have to say, I would NOT have used MYA if it hadn’t been for the fact that I so desperatly wanted Mr Traynor – MYA is the only company he works for now. I had my heart set on him. He was fantastic!! In my experience MYA aren’t good at getting back to you (unless of course they want money) and Im just hoping I don’t have any problems down the line as I don’t think I would feel confident x

I used The Hospital group in the end who were absolutely amazing. Cannot fault them so far however i did hsve a consultation with mya and my pc Lisa was fantastic xxx

My pc and nurse were fab at cardiff i had plenty of phone calls and txt messages from them they were fab. Once i had my op tho i was very dissapointed that my surgeon didnt come and see me to tell me the op went well or even to tell me what size implants i had because he didnt know what size he could fit in, but once he found out how upset i was he did ring me at the hospital to apologise. xxx

Hey girls I can happily say so far everyone has been amazingly helpful , my pc Helen is fab such a lovely lady & has helped me alot, my surgeon dr Marion grob has been amazing to, seen her at hospital before my ba and she came back to see me after my op & checked that everything was ok & that I was happy with the results, my nurse from MYA also rang to see how I am & to book my post op appointment to remove my dressings MYA has been great with me I’m really happy with the service anything I needed to know I just texted my pc and they replied straight away with the answers couldn’t ask for anyone better really pleased!! Xx

My only real complaint would be that 2 out of 3 times I haver gone to see implants and they haven’t had the sizes I wanted to see, which has made my choice v difficult as I keep worrying about what I’m going to get. I have had a few other niggly things but nothing that would seriously put me off recommending MYA. Have yet to have my op so can’t comment on that side of things tho

I’m really pleased with the service I’ve received. My PC has been very helpful and supportive throughout the whole process and I believe that you wouldnt get this high standard of service at any other organisation in the same industry. Before choosing MYA, i visited a number of other companies and found that in comparison to MYA, the service was very poor. I was amazed when I first came into contact with MYA and the procedures they have in place to provide us with such an excellent service.

It goes without saying that PC’s cannot be available 24/7 but there has always been someone available at the clinic or after hours service to reassure me when I was having one of my many paranoid moments

The nurses have also been amazing, really nice and understanding and able to effeciently advise and reassure. I couldnt of got through this without the staff at MYA.

In addition my surgeon, Dr Gonschior is brilliant. I was extremely nervous before the operation, and he was so understanding and caring, as well as being an amazing surgeon. Really pleased with the results. Couldnt of asked for a better surgeon.

amy- on reception amazing also she was lovely!! I loved amy and still email from time to time!

julie- my pc she is fab! I did write on here a while back that she had ignored me for weeks (,which was unusual) how ever lisha rang me that day i posted on here and julie was sick so lisha sorted out my questions. I still keep in touch with julie from time to time she puts no pressure on at all for the op and gives honest opinions etc. She is a leg!!

jenny and joanne- nurses! Amazing la,dies! Only met joanne once but she was lovely! jenny was fab! She knew i was worried bout my scars and rang me every other day! She was great! Even now if i email her about something i hear back the same day!

Also when i was worried bout telling my mam, and eventually told her, julie set aside an hr for me and my mam to come up so she could let my mam know everything, it was fab as my mam was so much more content as she was worried bless her!

from start to now newcastle clinic staff have been amazing!! Couldnt ask for better. I was rang the day before my op by both jule and jenny, emailed by amy, i was then text by julie day of op and then rang the day after by jenny and julie!!

Mr traynor!!!- my surgeon from heaven!!

i can 100% hand on heart say he is the best most professional surgeon i have met. In my first consult he went through everything. He told me the risks of going too big, the upset of too small and told me to trust him. Day if surgery i was a basket case hadnt had an op under ga since i was 6 when i had grommits, i cried like a kid! He cMe in to draw on me and i cried again. When the anethenetist came to see me and i was crying he said and i wuote ” u dont exactlyneed this operation its not life saving so if u dont want it done, thats fine!” So mr trsynor came back in the room and i told him. I cried again and again he cuddled me and told me he done thousends of ops and to trust him i would be asleep then wake up with amazing boobs. He really calmed medown and took me through everything.

I walked to theatre mr t was in my putty to sleep room and again reassured me i was fine!

when i woke he was there again before i got wheeled off swearing at the nurses and embarrasingly shouting pootaatooo!

at my six week check mr traynor was lovely said i had no problems and had amazing boobs from the size i had to the size i have now! I said back ” even if u do say so ur self” me him and my mam had a bitlaugh on about things. He also reminded me that i cried loads and hes glad i went through with it as hes seen how happy i was now!

The best thing for me was giving mr traynor a thank u card and seeing the genuine pleased look on his face. A man who is so skilled and so well paid to be that humbeled over a 3 quid card was amazing to see. He cuddled me and my mam and said it was great to get a card as usually pc gets the cards.

He discharged me at six weeks and said i could see gim anytime.

Sooo i trotted off back there for my six months check!

he said boobs were a great size for me and really good shape. He said any bigger and they would have looked out of proportion to the point where people wouldnt have to guess are they real they would know. I told him a few people had asked if i had fake boobs, he said thats because they are a hell of a lot bigger but look natural so leave themguessing he said haha..

Even when i left he shook my bfs hand and told us we were welcome to come anytime, and to enjoy our holidays…

So from my experience i would 100% recommend mrtraynor i would recommend him to family ! I trust his judgement 100% and would not go against it. I was upset as he said 380 max which i worried about after my op, before my op i thought wow 380 maybe too big, then after i cried cos they were too small, with my poat op blues! But now i see that this is what i wanted i was actually caught up in the boob greed fairy!! On holiday i was stared at loads and it to be honest felt AMAZING!!!

Fairyxx i totally agree with you even though i havent been for my op as yet, from day one the girls plus mr T have made me feel so relaxed and answered all my questions needed. I cant fault them for anything and dont even feel slightly scared about any of it whether that stays the same on op day i dont know haha but they are an absolutely amazing team hence why i chose this company rather the other 3 i went to, i just felt like an another number to the rest of them. Cuks is it that Irish accent lol 😉 x
