What do you need to take with you?

I know you need a non-underwired bra but what else?

I’m a daycase.

Hi hun. Most girls have said pack a dressing gown, pj’s with buttons etc incase u stay over. Wet wipes, throat lozenges, toiletries etc! HTH abit!

I was over night, and I took loads with me and didn’t really use anything. Def take your slippers and a pillow. I had a V pillow which was great but even if you don’t have one of them then just take a good pillow with you. The ones at highgate (not sure which hospitla your going to) were not very good. I did take a dressing gown and PJ’s with me but I didn’t use them, I had drain so it was easier to stay in the gown. I took a book and loads of mags but was too excited to read!! Just make sure your phone is fully charged so you can tell everyone about your op when you wake up!!!

i took basic wash bag (toothbrush and paste, wipes). Take button up pj’s and dressing gown because you walk down to surgery and don’t want to flash your but. slippers and most important take a change of clothers that you can get on easily put on e,g loose trousers as pulling up can hurt and front fastening top and shoes you can get on easily. sports bra. oh and change of undies. x

The only thing I took that I used was a dressing gown toothbrush n a thong! Dont wear jeans, I found it hard to fasten the button as my arms were just so weak, I’d advise pull ons like jogging bottoms, n slip on shoes. I came home in bandage tape stuff so no bra needed but I suppose it depends on the surgeon x
