If you are used to exercising pre-op, do some uphill power-walking hun and stepper/stairclimber at the gym.. If not, some regular walking will work x
Be careful though, I didnt feel well enough to do much of the above at 3 weeks and Ive always worked out regularly (or maybe its cos I had unders, grrrr!!)
